"I selected ACT for my first acting experience in Alaska (and first in 16 years) because I was anxious to get back into theater, and after investigating some local theater options, I decided an “all ages, all skill levels” option was the best to start back up with. I grew up in California and Colorado theater and always enjoyed the personal/professional development aspects of performing arts. I am so impressed at how inviting and engaging everyone is, both among the staff and cast/crew. The theater has been around since the 50’s and is full of Alaskan history and heritage, and they put together some amazingly creative products with the materials and experience they’ve accrued over time. The audience seating space is small and intimate, and the seats potentially need a refresh eventually. This theater is non-profit and charitable, so it’s not lost on me that they need community support to upgrade. I’m slightly biased because I’m in the upcoming “A Christmas Carol” show, which will be so much fun to watch, but I must also comment on the supportive value this theater offers for those struggling in life. I’ve seen people come together here and hold each other up in difficult moments. It’s truly inspiring and I look forward to being part of this theater long into the future. Perhaps my kids will perform here some day. :-)"

The quality of the acting is always high level and rewarding. ACT is honestly my favorite theatre to watch entertaining plays . Well done !"
