"It is a great facility. Some of the coaches are very patient and dedicated. However, you should watch. Some of them are rude, mean, and unprofessional. Specially the lower level trainers. They are not trained to work with young kids."

"Review for Rec Gymnastics only - This gym is MILES ahead of another reputable Anchorage gym, in my opinion. Staff at the front desk has been knowledgeable and friendly, and there is a useful parent portal. Most importanly, the coaches I briefly observed seem to be engaging the young gymnasts, correcting them, encouraging them and getting visibly excited when a student succeeds at something they struggled to get. There even seems to be some sort of formal testing schedule to keep track of rec gymnasts' progress (total shocker for me as I never even had any idea of whether my daughter is truly any "good" at gymnastics at all after a year at another gym as she or I heard ZERO feedback ).I moved my 6 year old here out of desperation as she has been challenging herself more at a school playground than at the old gym, and it has been by far the best decision we made all year. So far my kid has been at AGA Rec for only 1 month and the difference it made is significant - finally she is COACHED and gets to do new things that are fun for her. Huge shoutout to coaches Leah and Ned for this and to the owners who hire such professional staff."

"AGA has definitely set the bar high for us. Teaching my daughter discipline, strength, and the skills she needs to become successful gymnast. Sadly, we had to move away to a smaller gym, and I can’t help but compare the two. AGA hands down has a fantastic program, pushes and challenges each individual. Coaching staff are all knowledgeable, and top notch! We truly miss our AGA family. I wish everyday, we could of packed coach Tere up, and moved her with us!"

"My daughter had a lot of fun here but when I signed up, they had the option of having make up days for the days your kiddo missed their regular day/time. A couple months in, they stopped allowing that and when my daughter was sick for 3 weeks, they had no sympathy for her. They refused allowing makeup days and wouldn’t prorate that month. I asked if they at least had open gym to which they didn’t. So I just canceled because I don’t have $90 a month to just give away and they decided to charge my debit card for the $90 for that last month. Then had the audacity to send an email stating that it’s protocol to charge my card after cancellation. Which is fine but how are you not even going to warn the customer in case they don’t have the money sitting in their bank? It would have been nice to pay with credit instead. Terrible customer service and very disappointed."

"AGA has been a great place and environment for our child to grow and learn. They did an excellent job preparing our child for Kindergarten with their Pre-K and Pre-school programs. The staff and teachers are an absolute pleasure to deal and speak with. I would highly recommend them, it is also a great plus that the facility is family run and it shows!"
