"Outstanding spot to relax and see wildlife, including grizzlies and sandhill cranes. Paul and Nancy are wonderful hosts. The location is close to hikes within the Flathead National Forest and Glacier. There is also North Fork River access a short drive away. We stayed two nights and enjoyed sunsets from the deck (photo). As of July 2023, there is Starlink."

"Nancy and Paul were the kindest hosts. It is a beautiful house with very cozy rooms. A lot of love is put into every detail. You feel very much like home. The place is super remote and you can just sit there and watch the wildlife and the amazing landscape. And I had the best breakfast on my three weeks trip through Montana here."

"One of the most beautiful places you'll find for a bed & breakfast. Amazing view of the mountains, good hiking nearby, and just a lovely remote and quiet place. Facilities are great, especially if you consider how remote the place is. Hosts are amazing, kind and generous, and make you feel right at home. The breakfast blueberry pancakes are the best you'll ever have!"

"My wife and I had the privilege of staying here at the end of our honeymoon. After countless hours of travel through Alaska and other portions of the United States, we arrived at The Way, eager for rest and recharging. We had just spent the last 3 weeks sleeping in a different bed every other night (literally), and thought an escape to rural Montana was just what we needed. The Way Less Traveled is a Bed & Breakfast like you've never seen before. There's no cell service, they produce all of their own electricity, and the nearest town is about an hour and a half away. "Off the grid" is the perfect way to describe it, and that's just how Paul and Nancy (the owners) like it. You won't encounter too many people up this way either, which is fairly surprising, when you consider how close you are to Glacier National Park. There are a couple entrances into the park a few miles south of the B&B, but they were never crowded when we were there. Needless to say, if you just need to get away from it all, I'd strongly suggest spending a few nights here. Nancy's hospitality and Paul's bubbly demeanor will make you feel right at home, and the views just can't be beat. I wish we had stayed for more than 3 nights, but my wife and I both agreed that we can't wait to go back! The memories we made were well worth the bumpy ride it took to get up there. "Tired of staying in your own house during this past year? Are you yearning to experience completely different, in a part of the country still pristine and unmarred by civilization? Are you looking for the clearest water, the bluest skies, and the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets on this side of the Rocky Mountains, all from the comfort of your bed? Then look no further than The Way Less Traveled Bed and Breakfast. Paul and Nancy, my hosts for my stay were super welcoming, making me feel as if I was staying in my own home away from home. Breakfast was fantastic, homecooked by Nancy herself, and prepared me for a long day of hiking. Their beautiful home sits across the North Fork River, about 5 miles from the Canadian border, and 20 miles from the Polebridge ranger station, so a bit of driving is required to get there, but nothing ventured, nothing gained right? When you wake up in the morning, you can look out the dining room window and see the western portion of Glacier National Park, and man, is it a view. While I did not see any bears or moose, (meese?) during my stay, I did see deer every morning in the clearing just below the house. If you have any reservations about driving out a little further to stay here, banish those thoughts, as I can guarantee you will not regret it. I'm already planning my next trip out."
