"Horrible customer service. We left our 2019 tax return to be adjusted and filed. This was 3 weeks ago. Getting a hold of them is a hassle. We leave messages and never get a call back. I finally pestered last week the office by calling multiple times until finally someone picked up. The person who did pick up was very rude and said she didn't want to pick up but since I kept on calling she finally picked up. I am very displeased with the customer service and communication of H & R block. This is the last time I file taxes with them. I had been filing taxes with them for a few years but the treatment we are getting here is ridiculous. I understand that we filed during the rush of tax season but it's been 2 weeks since taxes closed for 2020. I expect my calls to be returned, especially when we leave a voicemail, even if it is to tell me it will take 2 more weeks to file. But being rude when you do pick up the phone, and not returning calls is not acceptable. I even spoke with a customer service representative in the headquarters and they scheduled me for a call on 5/29/2021 at noon. The time I am writing this review is 1:20 PM, and I never got a call back. Horrible customer service. Edit: They scheduled an appointment. Showed up, doors were locked. This is absolutely ridiculous."

"Fire that woman! I never made an appointment with this company and yet I have had to opt out of an automatically scheduled appointment 3 different times. I am still getting phone calls. When I called them today after still receiving another phone call and voice mail the First Lady Maryanne admitted she could see I never wanted the appointment but could not explain how it had come to be scheduled. Before she finished removing me from the list she said hello are you there I responded yes I am and she hung up. I called back and spoke to an infinitely more rude woman the second time who spoke over me was short and refused to send me anything to confirm I had actually been removed. So they can text and call me several times a day for an appointment I never scheduled, but absolutely can not send me something confirming that I’ve been removed from their call and text services that I never asked to be on in the first place."
