"I recently was tattooed at Olympus tattoo by Winnie and Austin. They did an amazing collaboration where both of them tattooed me at once. I didn’t know what I was getting and decided to not see the tattoo until it was finished. When I tell you I was blown away those words don’t do justice to how I felt seeing the piece finished. Not only did they absolutely slay the design and the tattoo, Winnie and Austin both made the tattoo experience and session one I will NEVER forget. During the session we were making jokes, laughing we even sang together LMAO I didn’t feel like just another client or a canvas. They made me feel like a person and a human being getting tattooed which is very important to me when choosing an artist to be tattooed by. I travelled all the way from Canada to get tattooed by Winnie and Austin and it’s a decision I would make over and over again if given the chance. From the moment I stepped into Olympus tattoo Winnie along with his core team made me feel so comfortable and welcome. The stereotypical intimidating tattoo shop environment is NOT what you get when you walk into Olympus tattoo. Everyone there is so friendly and nice, ready to have conversations with you about topics ranging from books they’re reading, tarot cards, cars and of course tattoos and tattoo art. One of the things that stood out to me the most was how close Winnie and his team are. Whenever they depart from each other they express love to one another. Every time. You can really feel how connected they are to each other even in the short amount of time that I’ve spent at their shop. The support they show and express for one another is next level and being around that environment was really inspiring and showed me that healthy and supportive teams out there exist. My tattoo session was 13 hours. The level of discipline and focus I witnessed while being tattooed was next level. Winnie was also on a water fast while he tattooed me and that itself is crazy. But during our session he was present, lively and energized despite being on a water fast. I didn’t know Austin had a flight to catch mere hours from the finish of the tattoo and for both of them to stay dedicated and committed to finishing the tattoo was inspiring to see. If you ask me if you should be tattooed by Winnie or Austin or any of the other artists at Olympus tattoo for that matter my response would be “does the sun shine”. If you’ve had the pleasure of being tattooed at Olympus tattoo you know what I’m talking about and if you’re thinking about being tattooed at Olympus tattoo I highly suggest pulling the trigger and getting booked in for a session so you too can experience the magic that they make at Olympus Tattoo. Being tattooed for 13 hours was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Winnie said something when we finished the tattoo and it’s been ringing in my ears since. “Thats what happens when you climb Mount Olympus” I’m glad I made the trip and climbed mount Olympus."
