Reviews
"I wanted a pound of espresso beans, so the owner hopped behind the counter and weighed them out for me and swapped it with the bag. Very gr8 customer service. Also I can tell they pay attn to details both in the product/ambience. Manager was super cool-from N Carolina but I’m blanking on his name, but took time to help and chat about coffee. These guys are knowledgeable about coffee I can tell (I used to export coffee so this means something). Intriguing cafe name also!"
"I love this coffee shop and want to continue support them. The last three visits I haven’t been able to get something I want from their menu. All week I’ve been looking forward to a miso caramel latte to celebrate the holiday and they couldn’t find it….disappointing. They don’t need to be a Starbucks but some consistency would be nice."
"This establishment leans towards the pricier side. The food quality was good but the portion wasn’t too generous. The ambiance is delightful, although I do wish they had more outdoor seating options. The service was commendable, and I particularly enjoyed their cappuccino. While the breakfast plate was decent, the avocado toast was truly delightful. Unfortunately, the mimosas left something to be desired. Overall, I had a positive experience and would recommend this place."
"Logos shares their space with Emigration Cafe. It was confusing where you could sit or if you have to be seated. There are signs on the tables that say Logos that you can sit at if you just get coffee. The rest of the seats you have to be seated and is part of the cafe. The lattes were great but they only offer 8 and 12 oz. We had asked for our coffee to go with one in a personal cup and they made both lattes for “here” so that was kind of annoying. We did try some food from the cafe. We tried the avocado toast which was really good but it says it is “sharable” and it was just 1 piece of bread cut in 2 pieces so I don’t know if I would consider that sharable. We also got a fruit cup for our toddler which was great for her. Has a lot of outdoor seating which will be nice once the weather is warmer!"
"stopped in out of curiosity for a coffee shop with a modbar, and was impressed with sapphire's friendly service, ability to talk about the individual coffees, and attention to detail in brewing. and i was pretty much blown away at the quality of the coffee. i wouldn't expect an experience of this level everytime, and maybe i got a little lucky, but i know a perfect extraction on an espresso AND a pour over doesn't just happen by chance. pour over of a naturally dried costa rica: balance: 8.5/10 sometimes you just get a perfectly extracted coffee! clarity: 8.5/10 clean cup allowing a solid exploration of its qualities. acidity: 8/10 crisp and refreshing acidity of a pink wine. sweetness: 8/10 clearly strawberries. body: jk satisfaction factor: 8/10 the kind of cup where the first sip makes you stop in your tracks, and even if you weren't planning on finishing it, it disappears before you finish your review. espresso: brazil/natural ethiopia: 7.5/10 thick shot with a crema that lingers until the last sip, it's pleasant brightness is balanced with a deep fresh fruit sweetness. not nutty like you'd expect from a brazil, not chocolatey, more like an SO ethiopia with the edges rounded a bit."
