"The atmosphere here is amazing. It is on the expensive side. We spent $80 for the two of us. Food is just alright. I guess this place is good for people who want to dine somewhere nice, decent service and exceptional atmosphere."

"I'm from the Northeast and didn't have any elevated expectations...but I was wrong. The atmosphere is casual and unpretentious. I ordered a Pappardelle (homemade Italian egg pasta) with a wild boar red sauce. Oh, yum. It was utterly delicious. The pasta was perfectly al dente...the dish was served at the right temperature...and the flavor complex and delightfully warm. Even the basil was favored with herbs and imported olive oil... The lemon cream cake was simply splendid and obviously baked in house. Heavy, perfect crumb, chilled creme and flavorful lemon reduction...wow. Just exactly what I wanted."

"The Bruschetta and the Formaggi with chicken was our group favorite and ended it with a delicious chocolate mousse cake. Whiskey sour was also great. Will definitely come back."

"You don’t find many nice places like this this far East in valley. I don’t really like to eat out for Italian but decided this on a whim. It was a pleasant surprise. Food seemed freshly made, ambiance was perfect for a Sunday evening, and service was exceptional. Special call out to Mike for his classy, intuitive service."

"This used to be my favorite Italian restaurant in Utah. I am a Swiss native and we have a lot of Italian food in Switzerland. An easy way to tell if it is an actual Italian is if they spell the food correctly on their menu categorizing Primi Piatti and Secondi Piatti. Primi are pasta & risotto, secondi the meats or fish. The next test is if their pasta is al dente which it was and still is. The first couple of times we ate here it was delicious. This time however I think they no longer have the same chef. It was good but only good, lacking the depth of flavor it used to have. We ordered fritura mista (calamari and shrimp breaded) for appetizer. They were undercooked, slightly soggy and the breading fell off. The dipping sauce lacked flavor and it was more like cold pasta sauce out of the can. It is still clean, nice ambiance, nice wait staff. I just hope they can get the culinary staff back to great."
