"This place was recommended to us and I’m glad we went. They have great coffee and tea. The coffee shop is attached to the hotel but not part of the lobby. Great for quick snacks and sandwiches as well. The hotel is really cool to check out even if you don’t stay there. Staff is super nice and friendly."
"If you are in Huntsville and you love coffee, you should visit this great shop. I ran three and a half miles to get my cappuccino this morning, so I would have been fine with an okay roast since this is the only cafe around. I was pleasantly surprised when I was met with a decent cappuccino. The reason First Lift gets a 5 star is because of its ambiance. It has a bit of indoor seating with a cute shop and a truly lovely outdoor area that allowed for a beautiful start to my day. Definitely go here, you will not be disappointed."

"Inside the large Compass Rose building. Latte was good. Husband's blueberry muffin was unexpectedly warmed up and it was very good. As you can see, there is a very nice outside area with an interesting arrangement to enjoy while drinking coffee. And a very pleasant employee. And a park across the street. And other shops. Just a nice place to drive to for a change of pace."
