"We had one of our more excellent and unforgettable meals at Duluvia. We were really excited about a more elegant/upscale meal from the usual fare in this area. Not only is the restaurant beautifully designed and appointed, but it has a large patio for outdoor eating. When checking in, we met Chef Matthew and he was extremely engaging and told us about his many favorite dishes he had been working on and told us he would surprise us with some extra things. Wow wow wow. First, were we treated to his special squash soup (made from locally sourced and grown squashes). This was amazing and incredibly flavorful, almost like a soup soufflé. I tried the spicy crab bucatini made with squid ink pasta with crab. The presentation stunning but it was light, fresh and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the cut of the day which was a Denver beef shoulder cut steak and it was delicious and had plenty of sides and was artfully dished . All the bread is baked on the premises and tasty. The final treat was a light and beautiful lemon pane-cotta. Chef Matthew and our waiter Matt were great fun to talk to, and passionate about growing this restaurant’s reputation for fine dinner and unique entrees. You couldn’t possible be disappointed. Thank you Chef Matthew for a truly wonderful dinner experience and your personal interaction with us . I apologize for this very late review. We were there Feb. 12 and are the couple from San Diego."

"A nice and classy restaurant near the Zion NP. Before we went in, I was hesitant after reading the other reviews but decided to give them a shot anyway. After going in and despite having a reservation, there was no one to greet us and seat us. We waited for 10 minutes until I went inside the dining area and asked a waiter about our reservation. From there, it was smooth sailing. Our waiter was very kind and attended to us very well. The food is good; it could use more spice, however. Given where the restaurant is located, the food is decent but don’t expect authentic Italian food. Overall, our experience was good! Recommended."

"The food was pretty good for what you can get in the Canyon - the facilities were upscale and the views were spectacular - but if you were eating outside, bugs and bees kept flying into your food, which was very unpleasant."

"I'll start with the only good thing about this restaurant: the atmosphere. It has wonderful, large windows and a great patio with pristine views of Zion. Unfortunately, here we go: Service: walk in with a reservation, see over half the tables empty. Still wait 20 mins to be seated. Many unhappy guests had been waiting longer. When we were seated, we thought it was but a small hiccup, possibly understaffed for the night, but it took another 15 mins to get water. We had enough time to order a bottle of wine, an appetizer and our meals at the same time. All 3 came at the exact same time, after the first two bottles we ordered took 5 mins each to tell us they didn't have them. Food: -calamari: soggy and served on a mound of fried zucchini. -vodka rigatoni: do you like your sauce with half cloves of raw garlic? This is for you. -lasagna: first bite was great, once you eat the corners, you hit the refreshingly cold center. Overall, I'd say this place preys on tourists hoping for a nice meal. Don't fall for it. Grab some tacos next door."

"The view is priceless. We ordered several items and had kind of a hodgepodge of stuff. The pork belly was the biggest portion I’ve ever seen. The spaghetti was meatless but the kids still ate every bite. We came straight here after a long day of hiking. So I asked if they had a dress code. Happily they said no and we were seated immediately. Matt our waiter was great! A little pricey. But you’re in a tourist spot. So not surprising. Great view I’ll have to say it again. Worth it to just sit and see the mountains."
