"I really wish I'd read the Google reviews before I tried going to this absolute joke of a counselor. Arlene was ineffectual. She knows that, but continues to practice. She gave virtually no advice, and our relationship is worse than when we began with her. I suspect she couldn't handle that I'm DEFINITELY not Mormon. And I'm queer. I wouldn't know, because when she found herself over her head, she couldn't be bothered to tell us in person, like someone she might actually respect. Instead, she broke up with us via my mom's bishop. I'm really concerned about the level of professionalism I witnessed with her. Just don't waste your money or your time."

"Five years ago, my now ex wife and I went to Kenneth Stewart for counseling. In one session, he instructed her to withhold intimacy (already nonexistent) until she felt “cherished.” She never did, nor did I. Needless to say that was the end of our 26 year marriage, and a huge blessing in my life. Although I’m not sure the advice would pass the test of appropriate LDS counsel, I’m blessed with a wonderful and beautiful new eternal companion. If you are looking for resolution to your marital problems, I’m not sure this is the right place."

"Worst place for counseling ever. The therapists see depression as a character flaw rather than as what it is - a biological illness. They say if I would just pray and fast harder, God would have healed me already. My least favorite therapist here is Kathy. I won't go into details on a public review as to why. But if circumstances compel you to come here, I recommend you see someone other than Kathy. Marriage counseling here is also extremely sexist. They try really hard to help couples maintain a toxic patriarchal order instead of helping marriages be equitable. In conclusion, if you need therapy, don't go to LDS Family Services. Davis Behavioral Health is a real healing environment where the therapists embrace Christian values while still being rational."
