"I need to warn people of Derek Andersen. In my opinion he is unethical and unprofessional and was a contributing factor in putting our children in harms way with a convicted violent criminal and “Registered” offender and with a manipulative, lying mother, where the “Narcissistic Parental Alienation” and “Malicious Parent Syndrome” is extreme, which, in my opinion, any good counselor would be able to see but Derek did not. And in my opinion, due to his irresponsible “statements” to the legal system on our custody case, they were put in danger where violence, against at least one of the kids, and illegal acts have happened at the mothers house, all of which we tried to warn everyone of and no one would listen. My husband protected the children from the truths about the mother in order to protect them, and the mother tells lies about EVERYTHING in order to portray herself as the victim and deflect the truth about her and her criminal husband. In my opinion, Derek could not see through the obvious false story-telling and signs of a brainwashed/poisoned child and OBVIOUS coaching that happened by the mother after 1 ½ years of Derek seeing this child, but yet a knowledgeable well trained counselor that we hired and that specializes in these cases saw it after 1 ½ VISITS! The child said how they have to say what the mother wants them to say or there are consequences and guilt trips. The criminal stepfather “Jacob” just happened to put a 5 star review for Derek. In my opinion there are so many good counselors out there, I would advise to do more research for your family and yourself and choose a well-trained counselor with better ethics, and in my opinion it would not be Derek. He even refused to involve the father or inform him of anything about the child, even though he has joint custody and the legal right to be involved in all medical decisions for the children. We did not choose him, we were not able to have a voice in it and we would never choose him for any reason in the future. And seeing where 1 of the reviews came from, well that says it all in my opinion."
