"Andrea is amazing! I have been taking my son to her every week for almost two months and I have already seen a HUGE change in him. She helps kids learn how to manage their emotions in healthy ways. To be honest when I reached out to her I was pretty desperate. I had read so many books and tried so many different incentive programs and parenting "techniques" without much change. I felt like some of the things I tried helped but nothing lasted very long. I reached out to her and got a phone call from her less than 24 hours later. My husband and I met with her and told her about the challenges our son had been facing and then her work began. She is a therapist that definitely goes above and beyond and does the work to figure out the problem. She doesn't just give advice (even though she does that too) but she figures out what is going on and works with the child and parent to "become exceptional." She even reached out to me during the week to make sure I had connected with my son's teacher at school to make sure I was making some necessary changes there. To say the least she is exceptional! We are so grateful. My son is doing so much better, so much happier, things are so much easier at home. I don't feel like I am walking around on eggshells like I used to feel. I imagine he will keep seeing her for a while but if his progress continues as such I think we will be able to do it on our own using these new skills that we have gained.
