Sugar House Pets: Grooming and In-Home Care/Walks

"I have used Sugar House pets for vacation care for many years now, and they’ve been so great! They are responsive and go above and beyond to take care of my special-needs doggy along with our other pets. We just used them for an overnight, and they even unpacked and put away a giant Blue Apron box I got while I was gone! I’ve found that leaving simple paper notes works best for instructions since different people come by to visit during the day and our instructions in the online portal can get lengthy. Over the years and through hundreds of pet and house care details, there have only been a couple times I’ve had a concern about something, and they’ve been very responsive, considerate, and communicative. They also have given us surprise gifts sometimes! I am very grateful for their love and attention to my animals!!"

"Been meaning to post this review for a while now and I’m just getting around to it, but just want to say the people here are amazing! I had a situation where I was out of state and had left the wrong key to my apartment so the pet sitter initially couldn’t get in. I just moved units and had mixed up the keys so I was freaking out and thought I was going to have to fly back home immediately. Luckily these sweet people worked with my apartment complex manager and were able to get the correct key copy to get inside my apartment and care for my two cats for the time I was away! These people are very dedicated to their job and you can tell they really care about your pets! Always enjoyed the updates given because they provide photos! Amazing service overall and would use again."

"I had Sugar House Pets take care of my cat when I went on a two-week vacation out of the country. They were very responsible to be there daily. They were great about following the instructions I left for my cat. They kept me notified with daily text as to what was happening with my cat. My cat is shy and won’t go to anyone. They made an effort to find her in the house and send me a pic of her every day, so I knew she’s was fine. That made me feel very good about her care. They were also very responsible with the security of my home. I recommend them to anyone who needs pet care. I will use them again. It’s a good feeling to know your pet is in good hands when your out of town."

"We have two older labs, one who needs insulin injections and one who just needs a lot of attention (lol) and we had to go out of state unexpectedly for a funeral and couldn’t bring our boys with us. I scrambled to find a pet sitter and Sugarhouse Pets came up in my search. I AM SO GLAD THEY DID. I was actually able to focus on the travel and services because I was at ease knowing they were taking such good care of our dogs. They were so professional when it came to the insulin injections and made me feel so comfortable. Gabi, Erica, Bri and especially Kiana, thank you for loving our boys as much as we do. "Sugar House Pets is by far the best dog business in town! We’ve been using them for about a year now ever since our dog was a puppy. They are incredibly reliable, loving towards our fur baby, and always send us the most detailed and cute summaries of their hangs with our dog. They send picture updates each time they visit, a screen shot of the route they took around our neighborhood, and a checklist of all the things they did. We know exactly when they arrive, and when they leave, so we know exactly when to expect them! They’ve brought in our packages for us numerous times, and have always been incredibly flexible when our schedules change last minute. I NEVER worry about our dogs safety or if he’s been fed or had enough exercise. They genuinely love him and love hanging out with him which comes through in their messages to us each time. I would 100000% recommend them to anyone that has a dog that they love!! Thank you SHP for taking such good care of our happy little guy!"
