"I have been to this place at least 20 times. I want to love it but the quality of the food is just so average. The meat has very little flavor, the tamales don’t taste fresh, and the birria tacos are the greasiest dish I have ever eaten in any Mexican restaurant. I’ve gone mainly to fill up when hungry, but yesterday was my final attempt. The birria had no flavor, the meat was very fatty, and it left the plate covered in pool of oil. I’m looking for a reason to return but I can’t find one."
"This was our first visit to El Guero. Five stars: The smothered burritos were chock full of meat. A special order was favorably accommodated. One star: Some of the food was hot with one entree being barely warm. Two entrees arrived together, the third when we were half done, and the last entree arrived when everyone else was almost finished eating and at that, we had to ask about. There had been an exceptionally large group there before we arrived but that is not excuse for having food not served all together."
"We went camping in strawberry for a few days, came down threw Heber and looked everywhere for authentic Mexican food. man I tell you what; we spotted this place in hopes of authenticity, and to my surprise this place was all I was looking for food was delicious the quality was on point the setting everything was perfect kudos to the owner. I would recommend this place to everyone who loves Mexican food as much as I do! Side note I got huevos con Churrizo and I ate it all (completely satisfied) *nopicture my girl got the burrito in the pic so sorry halfway ate and was all served beautifully"
"Amazing Mexican food restaurant in the middle of Heber City. Fast food with the quality of a sit down. There is something for everyone; I especially liked the help yourself salsa bar, a wide variety of choices on the menu with old fashioned favorites as well as unique tastes. Tacos El Guero is a great place for a quick bite or a sit down dinner."
"Awesome Birria tacos and ramen. Then we also ordered the enchiladas suzas with green tomatillo sauce. I would suggest getting chicken. The chicken and creamy tomatillo sauce is great. Also very yummy paletas."
