"I went to get my hair dyed for the first time and I wanted pink highlights (see first photo below). I went to see September and she has cut my hair twice before and was great so I trusted her to dye my hair. She bleached my hair and it was fine and she put in the pink and when it was done it had looked like my hair was dyed pink but it was faded for weeks, I expressed that I didn’t like how blonde it was and you could tell she was annoyed but she fixed it anyways. She then tried to fix it but the back was darker than the front so she had to fix it for the third time. After fixing it, it looked nothing like how I wanted and it was more of an orange and red color (see second photo) at this point I just wanted out of the salon since I was there for more than 5 hours. I left and I was hoping if I had washed it, it would fade to a lighter pink color but interested all of the color fell out and it was all blonde. I messaged September and she was very confused and said that the color should not have came all out. She offered for me to come back in, but I had vacation the day after and I had no availability and I did not want to go back to her. I then went to sally beauty to basically try and fix it and they agreed that they thought it looked like my hair was faded from a job done months ago and that they’ve only heard that dye falling out that fast is when people have dyed it so much, not on virgin hair. They said I should ask for a refund and so I asked her if I could get a refund or at least a partial refund since I paid $300 + tip, but she then turned and said it was my fault for not following her instructions even though she did not give me any written instructions and when I asked if I should get color shampoo she said I could wait a while which obviously wasn’t true. My hair is now completely faded (see last picture) and every time I wash it, it’s like a rats nest and I am so sad that I spent so much money for something so awful."
