"before going to Dubai I decided to get my teeth washed to make an app just for that. but while I’m there the dentist kept telling me about how I can cover up my gap, he’s trying so hard like he’s selling something. then the bigger dentist came I told him I need to get my teeth clean and I need retainers. he said i can close it permanently instead of retainers putting them in and off not permant retainters. I asked him is it easy for permantt retainers he said yes and showed me a video in the video it was simple then when he started doing the procudure for the permante retainers i didn’t know I thought it was going to be the same in the video. he gave me a shot on my gum and i smelled that he was shaping my tooth so I stopped and asked him even though I couldn’t talk having the thing in my mouth I asked him you can change my shape ? he told me he could make it vampire teeth . he made it as a joke. that was done I was sitting and he showed me a mirror and I was in so much shock my lips was hurting .. and mouth was hurting and teeth was looking shipped and different and I look in the mirror and look sad. and now my teeth where he shaped hurts so much I never had this problem so much and I didn’t go for vampire teeth and they pushed me and took advantage of me . then they said don’t eat or drink then I said for how long he said idk. when he said he can do it permanently I told him my insurance won’t cover and they can only cover medical. the doctor told me he’s gonna tell them I have a cavity which I never had so he lied and made a fraud on my insurance so sad I cannot get my smile back"

"Terrible experience, I suggest finding any other dentist office but Monarch dental in Sandy. I just wanted a simple teeth cleaning which I could have gotten for 60 dollars at my normal dentist but we just got dental insurance so I came here because it was close and what a mistake that was. This was a simple cleaning in one visit. My insurance covers cleanings, but they billed so much it was rediculous. They ended up charging my insurance so much that the insurance would'nt cover it all and then Monarch billed me for 116 dollars over what they received from insurance. There is so much more bad stuff including the front dest staff who missinformed me , but I will just end it here. It is frustrating. I feel these people are out to take advantage of the insurance companies and the customers. I have a call into the office manager Rebecca but we will see if I even get a returned call. I will never go back or send my kids there. If there were zero stars, that's what I would have given them."

"Easy to make an appointment online. Front desk gals are so nice. Hardly any waiting time. Dentist was very kind and patient with me, explained things very well. Assistants/hygienists have all been wonderful. Nothing but good things to say about my experiences here."

"When I arrived for my appointment they said I didn't have an appointment. I showed them the reminder texts on my phone. They said my appointment had been rescheduled to 9:30 that morning? I told them no. They said yes its right here on the computer. I asked when it was changed, they said 8:32 AM the day before. I told them I didn't do that. I waited for another person to look up information and she said that corporate or headquarters had changed my appointment because my periodontist had to attend a mandatory training. They said I could come back later or another day. Nobody apologized to me, Nobody said sorry for the inconvenience. Nothing, just come back later or another day. I had already left work early for this appointment. I made this appointment 6 months ago. Why would you allow someone from corporate or headquarters to change a 6 month old appointment the day before? Let alone not tell the patient. The training should have been scheduled around patients (before hours/lunch/after hours) not around the company's convenience the day before. My family has been coming to this office for years, even after we moved 20 miles away. The company scheduling a training over my 6 month appointment the day before is ridiculous. None of the staff in the office apologizing to me or even seeming to care is ridiculous. When we left my daughter said why were they so rude to you? I will be looking for a new Dentist for my family."

"They called last mitunte o cancel an appt for a new client. Reschedule it for earlier the same day which was hugely inconvenient for me. It took them 30 minutes to process paper work. It took them 30 minutes to call me back for my appointment. At which, I had to decline because I had other appointments. This place has absolutely zero regard for you. And reception, well it was not her smartest day. Got my name wrong and confused the 11th with the 16th. When they asked if I wanted to reschedule I said yes, but with a different office. Too much of a clusterfk here. I'd rather deal with a complete curmudgeon who knows what they are doing than the nicest person on the planet whose only competency is to smile. Nice office does not equal great service."
