I would HIGHLY recommend him and his staff. Dr Skanchy himself is so friendly and thorough in his explinatuons of everything. He talked me through the whole procedure and it was done in no time! I was able to get my consultation and surgery scheduled quickly, the staff is friendly, and the office is really clean. It's been a week since my procedure, and I'm extremely happy with how everything has gone. I will be going back to him for future work."

"Dr. Skanchy is a wonderful periodontist. I've seen others since I've moved out of the Sandy area, and end up coming back to him. He really does want the best for his patients. The last time I had an appointment, I was told several times that I needed a mouth guard to wear at night which I had never been told by my dentists or other periodontists. Hopefully wearing the guard is going to help my gums as he suggests! 4 stars because front office staff could use some better customer service skills as stated in other reviews also. A little empathy goes a long way!"

"I've been seeing Dr. Skanchy for over 12 years and have been extremely satisfied with the quality of work, professionalism of him and his staff, and the efficiency of the office. Due to childhood mouth trauma, I've had 4 dental implants and at least as many gum grafts during the last 12 years and all procedures have gone as good or better than expected and were closely monitored during the whole process. Unlike most medical offices, my appointment is almost always right on time and I don't feel like I'm being ramrodded through to make a boat payment. Dr. Skanchy is personable and communicates well through the process. I would recommend (and have) Dr. Skanchy without reservation."
