Hampton Inn & Suites Ogden

"Rooms were fine. Good shower head (very unusual). Internet was down for half my stay. Breakfast was Hampton typical. Biggest grip is the parking situation. The parking garage is half way around the block. No covered access so if it’s raining or snowing, oh well. The kicker is they charge you $10 a day to park there. How nice of them. They should not only eat that cost but rooms should cost less strictly for the parking inconvenience."

"I had called and booked a room for Friday through Sunday - but had made it clear I was arriving at 2AM on Friday. When I arrived at 2AM the front desk staff was courteous BUT they did not have a room ready, or even space available. I'll take this as a failure on my part to effectively communicate. I went to a neighboring hotel and got a room for a single night. The next night I got in plenty early and got through the check in process easily. When I got to my room I realized it was a smoking room - I didn't know this from my phone booking so was quite disappointing. Everything was clean. The staff was professional but overall experience could have been much better."

"They didn't have my room available. But had the exact same room available for my White employees who came in after me 30 minutes ( 4 of my employees). So to test, I had sent my 5th employee to check in for me. Guess what happened...Now they told me my room wouldn't be ready until 3 pm check in..But every single other room was ready for them in the 10 o'clock hour. The same king size bed room, no special requests. You don't ever have to worry about seeing my colored self again. I know when I'm not wanted. I was totally disappointed. I honestly can't find the words, knowing how much money my company was spending to book rooms there. Guess I need to pull the Green book out to see if this was listed? Can someone check back in 1941 and tell me?"

"I saw some individuals gave negative reviews. I have to saw we loved this place. This is a historic place, so you will see that charm everywhere. The staff were fantastic to us. The rooms were great, updated with keeping some of that historic charm. Breakfast was perfect. The location was perfectly located downtown with ease to get to everywhere we needed. In short we look forward to staying here next time we are in Ogden."

"It is very convenient to downtown - walkable to restaurants and shopping. Rooms are not easy to get temperature adjusted but clean and comfortable. They only make the room up every other day. Part of a group reservation. Was unable to get a receipt printed with the correct name and address even though I called prior and had this adjusted for my credit card and information more than a week early. I discovered this after I'd left and did not check this when I checked out."
