"Closed until April 1, 2024 and hope for changes. Without a Park attendant there were all kinds of trouble during the ‘23 season. People come in and out all day/ night long and squat right in front of where your site is for their ease to use the beach ., People come in without paying- use the boat ramp, pull out their lake going party stuff and make themselves at home. Hardly any parking at the boat ramp for those with reservations that trailer their boat . With the new LA.K.E. Act all funds that come into the park are used to upkeep the park . The 30 A needs to be upgraded to 50A. All sites need a picnic cover. Sites that get flooded when it rains( site 34) needs leveled and get a load of rock hauled in . Absolutely zero signage to indicate where to turn to get to your site. I saw people go in circles so I stepped out to the street to help them . This could be a good park if the management would run it without turning a blind eye to the individuals that come in on 4 wheelers, unauthorized motorcycles, VRBO renters on their golf carts from close by and all kinds of free loaders that pull right up on the grass to get to the beach and block your view. Phone calls to the Corp have been made, concerns about safety have been reported, and nothing has been done to stop this nonsense."

"We took the grandkids yesterday and it's a very nice place. The restrooms were clean and had a shower. Good value for the money."

"This is a great park. Not crowded and park patrol is always keeping an eye on things so you can feel good about leaving your vehicle while you hit the water."
