"I cannot say enough about my experiences throughout the years with Alta Hills Tack. The quality care and reassurance that Holly gives her clients is very much appreciated. I love that she shares her knowledge and if she doesn’t know the answer (which is quite rare) she will find it out for you. It always amazes me how she remembers so many saddles and who has what size without looking anything up even if it’s from MANY years ago. While at the Treasurer Valley Spring Opener I told her husband that she is the Ollivander of saddles. "I will unfortunately not be going back to Alta Hills Tack. The Google address took me to a dirt road that ended at a construction field. I called Holly who was really kind and sent me her address and location, so I was able to find her. When I arrived, she showed me the trailer where she keeps the tack. I was looking for some new breeches, and she showed me her selection that started at $300. When I told her I was looking for something less expensive, she told me she didn’t have anything. Then she told me I had 15 minutes to look through everything because she either had the next client arrive or had to leave. (Yes, her store works by appointment only) Then she got on her phone and left. I felt disrespected and dismissed after I told her I wasn’t looking for $300 breeches. Thankfully, the 15 minutes was enough to look through everything because I wasn’t impressed with the selection."

"Holly was very friendly and helpful. Good selection of items. My only complaints would be that she didn't have a lot of larger sizes in breeches (32-34) and since I'm not from the area, we had a bit of a hard time finding the place. If you visit Alta Hills Equestrian Center looking for the tack shop, it is a mobile unit in a big, gray trailer."
