"I have purchased around 8000 worth of furniture from the store in fort smith the bed we had had a drawer that was damaged new one was brought out then that replacement was broke finally third replacement was still messed up but I was able to make it work then I go to purchase a 720.23 cent coffee table for my wife for Christmas it comes in broken take 2 months to get another in that one comes in broken as well and they make sad attempts to make it right offer 30 percent back to keep broken furniture then wanna just give you 100 off and order you a new on that takes longer then the original took to get back to top it off this was a special order item that being considered you would think customer care would be the most important it is not now I'm waiting longer to get a refund from them which I believe I will have to fight to get I asked for them to refund me more and just leave both items with me so I can put them together to make one good coffee table they refused considering all that's happened they should be doing whatever to provide some customer service Ling story short buy from mathis brothers or ashley furniture stores they all come from this center avoid it cause they just constantly send broken items out the door I asked that they inspect before delivering and it still come broken 8000 dollars spent with them was worst choice maybe this will get everything resolved like it should have been already good luck to anyone who wants to try"

"I have bought many things from Mathis Brothers over the years and have never had any problems till now. Purchased my daughter's bed a month ago. The headboard is supposed to light up but I don't have the wall plug or the remote for it. After a few phone calls they send me a part but it's the wrong one. Definitely not a satisfied customer at the moment."

"Visited this Mathis building to pick up some warrantied cushion covers that we have been waiting on for over a month. The man who was supposed to be assisting was incredibly rude, argumentative, and unhelpful. We were supposed to be receiving cushion covers for all four of our bottom cushions, but there were only three to be picked up. When this was pointed out, he told my spouse that he was wrong and did not know what he was talking about, as the couch only has three bottom cushions. My spouse proceeded to show him a picture of the couch where you can clearly see FOUR bottom cushions (two for the sofa and two for the chaise) and the man said he did not see how there are four cushions. The lack of professionalism is astounding. We are not argumentative or aggressive people, but having an associate who is profusely sweating, getting progressively more irritated, and is refusing to acknowledge your concerns is beyond unacceptable. The proper course of action would have been to apologize (even if it is NOT his fault - this is common courtesy), investigate the problem, and follow up with a superior if necessary. In large corporations like this, there is always someone above you who might be able to help or provide insight. I did not need another reason to NEVER buy from Mathis again, but I was given one today."

"We bought one of the best mattresses out there. Is the cost worth it? We will find out. We went to Mathis Brothers on Memorial. The salesperson who helped us was not very informative. We learned more about the different types of mattresses from a sales rep. She sold us pillows that we knew nothing about. purple pillows. (Very nice pillows), by the way. We purchased a king size, which the frame now is to singles. Better support, I guess. She added another super single frame. We wanted it delivered on a friday so I wouldn't have to miss work. Delivery between 1:30 and 3:30. Not till close to 4 pm. so she could get the commission on her check for the week. She scheduled delivery for Wednesday. The delivery company was a third party. Things were broke from one of the delivery guys being in a hurry. Not sure if Mathis Brothers cares or wants to make that right. We were given several excuses and phone numbers. The pillows delivered were not correct. That issue was fixed. Overall the experience was disappointing"
