"Lots of items, but needs better way to display areas to ease the shopping experience, like easy to read aisle numbers so that people can find what they're looking for more efficiently"

"I have said for a very long time that Hobby Lobby as a company needed to move out of the 1950's and get a normal SKU system like every other store out there. Most of the time you have to watch cashiers ring up every single item because they don't always know what's on sale. Yesterday I had a ridiculous experience that would not have happened if #1 they had an SKU system instead of hand keying prices and #2 if the cashier had been paying attention. The cashier started entering my items while I was still removing items from my basket so I missed watching her actually enter the first couple of items but since they weren't on sale and the price was on the front in a bright yellow box, I didn't think it was an issue. When she told me the total I thought I heard her say $130 but I quickly dismissed that and figured I must have misunderstood what she said because I only had about $30-40 in items. That was my mistake not making her repeat herself. A nagging voice told me as I was walking away to check my receipt and sure enough, she had rang me up for $130. I knew I had watched her enter every item except the first 2 and that was where the issue was. I had gotten two rolls of yarn at $4.99 each and she entered them as $44.99 each. With tax she over charged me $86.00! Besides the fact that she should have caught her own mistake as soon as the price came up on the screen, the mistake would never have happened if Hobby Lobby corporate would get an SKU system."

"Haven't been inside since my grandma passed away (Jan 2020. She loved Hobby Lobby) but came in here recently for birthday party accessories and I'm blown away from the variety of new stuff to get younger people to shop here (Sanrio plushes and figures, blind boxes, anime/pokemon merchandise) they got rid of the 40% off coupon and their item inventory still feels very outdated. Staff was helpful but overall not my favorite store to be inside of for too long."

"Hobby Lobby is our go to hobby shop from yarn and sewing goods to fabulous decorations of any season. Not to mention the great toys that get children involved in crafts! Slight drawback are long lines and high prices on some of their candies. But usually merch can be 50% or more off."
