"I started coming here in March per recommendation from a coworker and my life has exponentially improved since. The teachers are very understanding of mistakes and give personal feedback to make sure no one is falling behind the rest of the class. They teach the history the dance so you can respect and appreciate what you’re learning. Leads and follows learn how to listen to each other while dancing and dance off of one another. You’ll learn a large repertoire of moves so you won’t find yourself running out mid-dance. They are truly passionate about swing. The community that Irina and Anthony have built is incredible. Everyone is extremely supportive of each other and wants to see each other succeed. You’re encouraged to be your authentic self, to make mistakes, and to have fun. I can’t think of a single time I’ve left a dance or practice where I wasn’t happier than I was before I went. If you want to learn how to swing dance, learn musicality, make a friend, have a better day, get a good workout in, and lots of other positive things; Salt City Swing is for you."
