"There's many versions of nickel mania around salt Lake but I would probably recommend this one on State Street the most because for those old school gamers like myself they have some good arcade games but also it's great for kids My son especially loves the ski ball, air hockey and a bunch of other rides. They do a good job of making sure that the maintenance on this place is tip top. You only downside I do have to say is that it seems on certain weekends and holidays this place is packed to the brim which is good for this place but you will have to play bumper cars with a lot of people and some people stay on the machines for hours on end it can't be helped just a fair warning for you."

"The games are great and the main floor is well maintained. It is a bit cramped but they have a ton of games in a small/medium space. They have tables in the back to book parties. The reason for the lost start is the quality of the restroom. It could use a bit of cleaning. In a perfect world it would get a remodel/update. But the star if for the cleanliness. Overall, great time for a great price. -side note: the entrance to the parking lot is tight and the road to come off of is fast. Be careful. Think about parking next door in the mechanics parking lot."

"I visited today (2/13 between 4-5p) excited for some time with my kids after school. What I got instead was a truly terrible experience. A mini carousel that was set up too close to the wall left my son bruised and traumatized. On the wall adjacent to the carousel were newly installed blinds which had a portion jutting out of the wall. As the carousel spun arround it ran my son directly into this, and continued to turn, pinning my son against it. I was nearby and quickly got him out. As a 4 year old, he was obviously terrified and left crying and bruised. I spoke to the employee (who identified herself as the manager) and given my son's state was hopeful just for an apology and refund of entry fees to try and come back another day. The "manager" stated she wasn't "able" to do a refund since I have already entered and my kids had started to play. She proceeded to argue that the business had no liability for any injuries. I'm no lawyer, but given that I never signed any waiver of liability, this seems wholly incorrect. That said, it was a strange statement to advance as I wasn't existing any intent to be litigious. In the end, I was woefully disappointed with the experience and in particular the businesses handling of the unfortunate situation and my son's injury. This could have been very easily handled with some genuine empathy and a pragmatic customer-centric approach. I will not be returning and will encourage my friends and family members to stay away as well."

"My 4 year old son and I played video games for 3 hours here for $15 bucks. If you're looking for some good old-fashioned fun that won't break the bank, this is the place."

"I’ve been coming here for years, 10 plus years. I used to come when they used actual nickels to play games and it’s great to see their upgrade to cards. Much more sanitary and user friendly. It’s awesome to see that prices haven’t changed much and I think that is why they are always busy, not to mention they have the classic arcade games and great ticket games. I really enjoyed this place before and I definitely love taking my son now. I highly recommend."
