"I don’t know what is wrong with this costco tire shop but it’s the worst one i’ve ever been to. The employee this morning, was incredibly rude and put off by us, we didn’t even want their help we went to south jordan where they were 10x nicer and happy to help."
"Organizational mess. They had a huge line (even though the signs said to form two, they didn't direct anybody in any helpful way so people looking to buy tires were all in the pick up/drop off line) and they kept calling people to the front at random. I picked up well enough after my "ready" message to expect my car and paperwork to actually be ready, but my car still had plastic covers all over evening, and they had to reprint my paperwork cause they'd lost it in my car and didn't have it at the desk. I stood in line for over a half hour just to get my keys back on a prepaid service, and I'm pretty sure the guy who eventually helped me didn't even work in the tire center. Had to book out over two weeks for this appointment just to be treated like an after thought."
"Hard Pass. Just don’t. Staff is grumpy and majorly messed up my account info with someone else. In addition, I thought the prices were the best deal until I recently bought two more new tires at the dealership and saved a good chunk of cash."
"The first time I called the Sandy Costco Tire Center, I was put on hold and no one ever picked up. After several attempts with no answer, I called the administrative office who transferred me again and no one picked up. If the customer service is so poor upfront, I can't imagine their incompetence in resolving any major problems. Another Costco picked up the first time, had tires in stock and gave me an appointment the next day. It's unfortunate that the Sandy tire center is tarnishing the Costco brand with such terrible service."
"DO NOT BUY TIRES AT COSTCO SANDY!! Their customer service is absolutely abysmal! They promise a “5 year” warranty - I spent $1,000 to get 4 brand new tires for my Lexus Rx, and 3 months later one of them has a leak. I take it in for repair, and they can’t get to it for several hours that day, and next appointment is nearly a week later! They are woefully understaffed for what they promise. Now I do not have a serviceable way to get to work for a week!! Better to spend your money at a reputable tire place that will actually back up their promise to take care of you. STAY AWAY FROM COSTO TIRE IN SANDY UTAH!!"
