"I’ve been going to this pharmacy for two years and it’s time I find a better one. I picked this pharmacy for the convenience that it had a drive-thru, but 99.9% it’s closed and they don’t use it. So then you have to go inside and the line is always insanely slow; it’s usually around a thirty minute wait on a good day. They also many times have told me my prescription was ready only for me to wait in line for forty minutes to be told it is actually not ready."

"Absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. No matter what I wait over 20 minutes to get my prescription even figured out and then I’m always told it isn’t ready and to come back. My latest prescription was sent over a month ago; went to pick it up then and was told I couldn’t get it and had to come back in 2 weeks. Went back today to get it (4 weeks later) and yet again waited for 20 minutes with the worker trying to figure it out. Then was told it wasn’t ready and to come back again. How is it not ready when it was sent to them a month ago?? Issues every single time. I’ll never use this pharmacy again. And will most definitely tell everyone I know to go elsewhere."

"Drive through is always closed. They close the whole pharmacy for lunch (and often earlier then the posted hours). The lines are always super long. They are always super slow. Go to amy other pharmacy! It would be faster to drive to another state to pick up your prescriptions"

"I've never had issues with this pharmacy and I have been going here for years. The longest wait line I was in was about 5 minutes. And my husband just went through the drive thru today and was in and out in 2 minutes. The employees are always friendly and on the rare occasion that my prescription isn't filled yet when I get there, they have it ready for me in 15 minutes. I will continue to use this pharmacy as I have had nothing but pleasant experiences every time."

"My New Year’s Resolution is to find a better pharmacy. Shouldn’t be hard. I figured I’d use the obsessively long wait time to pick up my prescription to share a cautionary tale for others so they need not suffer. Not all Smith’s pharmacies are created equal and this one is exhibit A. On the pro side, the staff, once you can get to them, are usually professional and nice enough. I doubt this is their fault. Cons - everything else. I don’t recall the last time their drive thru pharmacy window was open. Pre-COVID? The lines to pic up prescriptions are always 10+ people long. See today’s line in the pics below. They openly advertise they are understaffed and that you will likely be waiting a long time. They full on shut down for a lunch break every day from 1-1:30. I agree these folks deserve a lunch break. People need to eat. The problem is, I’ve seen Smith’s do this so much better. The Timpanogos Highway Smith’s Pharmacy feels like a Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous compared to Smith’s Saratoga Springs. The Timpanogos Highway Smith’s pharmacy drive through seems to be almost always open. And fast. When you do need to walk in over there, the wait is minimal in my experience. The difference between Timpanogos Highway Smith’s pharmacy and Saratoga Springs Smith’s pharmacy seems like a lesson in how to do it so right vs how to do it so wrong. So I’m done. I’m busy and lazy about these things so it takes a lot for me to be motivated to find a new pharmacy. But congratulations Smith’s Saratoga Springs. You did it. Color me motivated. Even if I need to make the longer drive back to Smith’s Timpanogos Highway for my prescriptions, I’m confident the total time invested will still be less than what it takes to go to your more convenient location. I feel bad for the staff at Smith’s pharmacy Saratoga Springs. I’ll bet they wish they weren’t understaffed. I’ll bet they get to deal with a lot of frustrated customers. And I’ll bet if they didn’t insist on their 30 minute lunch break they wouldn’t get to eat. My point is, this is a horrible customer experience. And month after month, it does not improve. May I humbly suggest you place a call to your colleagues at Timpanogos Highway Smith’s pharmacy and find out what they’re doing to provide an excellent customer experience while you seem unable to do so? One last thought. The many, many posted signs on printed 8.5x11 crumpled papers we see while we wait in line tell people, at least me, “you’re about to have a sub-par experience. We know it, you know it, and that’s how it’s going to be”. Not exactly inspiring that you have a plan to someday, somehow, make things better. I’m rooting for your success. I truly am. And while I won’t be back anytime soon, I would think you’d want ti try anything to elevate your operation. I wish you luck. If you figure it out, I would love to come back. Until then, I’ll be taking my business to a competitor or your awesome Timpanogos Highway pharmacy. Good luck!"
