"We stopped in Childress for an overnight stay on our way home to Baton Rouge from Colorado. While backing our fifth wheel into a site at Childress Fair Park, the corner of the trailer nose contacted the edge of the rear glass of the truck causing the tempered glass to explode-shatter. I found Childress glass on Google and called them immediately. They searched nation wide and found a replacement that could be delivered in two-three days. After sealing up the rear window, we relocated to J &S RV Ranch, so that we would have sewer and water connections. Childress Glass kept me informed of the UPS tracking status, called me when the glass arrived, drove me back to the camper while they did the work and picked me up when it was finished. The installation is clean and they removed/cleaned up the shattered glass ‘pebbles’ that were EVERYWHERE! They also worked smoothly with my insurance provider which also made the whole ‘mishap’ a lot more bearable. The shop is very impressive; huge, well lit and CLEAN. Thank you Childress Glass! "I've had cars fixed there. One was a windshield replacement on an old conversion van. One was tinting, eyebrow and 6 chip fixes on a Toyota Tacoma. The last was a Toyota Rav4 windsheold replacement with tinting and anti-collision calibration. Customer service was great. They didn't just sit on my vehicles not doing work. They fixed them perfectly. They have reasonable prices with discounts if you get multiple services. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my glass needs."
"Not sure where all these negative comments came from because my experience was the total opposite. Had my passenger window blow out while i was working on the road out here in childress. Called a dealership and they said it would take a week to get the replacement window in, with the rain and the cold this was not going to work. Found Childress Glass and called, they got my replacement in the next day installed at a fair price and friendly customer service. I highly recommend giving these guys a call if you are in or near Childress."
