"The wifi here is the same as the campus wifi and for some reason it hardly works over here. We haven’t had air conditioning in months so even with 4 fans going in my room its too hot. I keep my window open at night to try to help with that but then i’m woken up at 6:15 am by the construction of the new campus view suites. You’d think that they would take care of the problems at the original campus view before building a new one... DO NOT LIVE HERE"

"DSU has clearly spent a lot of time to make this building look appealing, but a closer inspection shows that there's not much else but looks... For new students arriving to Dixie, Campus View Suites is definitely an appealing housing option. However, the higher cost does not equate to comfortable living conditions. Each unit crams six students into a small space with tacky furniture and very little storage. If you're lucky, you can get one of the few private rooms to try and have your own space, but it will not be much bigger than a broom closet. During the school year the staff do try to be helpful and pleasant, but as soon as the year ends their attention turns to getting everyone out as soon as possible. I've known people to be homeless for weeks because CVS would not negotiate letting them stay a bit longer until they can move in to a temporary summer dorm. They act hard and fast on these policies, which makes sense for a school that is still adjusting to the recent change to a university. The consequence of that is it leaves a lot of students feeling mistreated by the end. This is not to say that the Campus View Suites is a terrible housing option. Though, it just might not be worth the price..."
