Club Wyndham Park City

"This club Wyndham resort was very family friendly. The two hot tubs and heated pool were great. We had a room overlooking the pools and a fire pit which was nice. We had a week long rental from Saturday to Saturday and we were greeted with a firework show and a free s'mores roast. The kids had access to the shuffleboard table and Foosball table in the lobby which provided hours of enjoyment. The 7-11 down the street was walkable and the kids were able to get snacks if desired there. The room was clean and spacious and comfortable. Some of the staff (Adam) went above and beyond to help facilitate getting to the park city base to expedite the start of the ski day. Here are some improvements I'd suggest. -let the guests know about the fire work show and the best place to view it from. When we checked in we were told about the s'mores but not the fireworks. -when we checked in the receptionist was more interested in making sure we made a reservation for a sales pitch that would negate the $20 a day parking fee. ( -at check in we were not given any information about what to do with trash or how to get fresh towels or housekeeping. -the room lacked a few things including a pen and paper, hooks, and a welcome packet. -it would have been nice if the front desk had lift and trail maps available to guests upon request. -on multiple occasions we were told the lifts didn't start until 9am which was not the case during the week. The gondola outside the club started at about 8am and the mountain lifts started at 8:40. I believe the club is doing the guests a disservice by misinforming guests leading to missing the best half hour of skiing. -the staff at check in did not inform me that the ski valet was run by a 3rd party (aloha ski and sport) and on the day before check out it would be locked. This happened to me when packing to leave. My children did not bring their skis in at the end of the day. When asked after hours about 8pm if the skis could be recovered they said no they didn't have a key and I would have to call the next day to figure out how to send the skis back to where I lived. Luckily I called Mike at aloha ski and sport who said a person had already been there earlier in the night but he was willing to come back out to unlock the ski valet room."

"The property is gorgeous and very conveniently located. The staff is very friendly and nice, however, they don't really solve problems if they arise. For example, if you happen to get loud neighbors on the floor above you, the staff will do absolutely nothing. We had what sounded like a family with a bunch of kids above us. They were up at 6:45/7 am daily and ran from one room through the living room to the master in their ski boots every morning. This would continue till 8:30/9 am every day. The front desk did nothing about it. Another issue we ran into was the hot tub. We ended up with chemical burns from using it, and we weren't the only couple who had that problem. We met two others who also ended up with burns from it. Unfortunately, we ended the vacation itchy and burned. As far as the unit goes, it was lovely. The fireplace is particularly wonderful. The bathroom is very large as well, so there is plenty of room! The only appliance that was a bit sketchy was the dishwasher. It would tip forward when loading. It worked, though, so alls well that ends well! The blankets and pillows were very comfortable. A nice feature is that you can have groceries delivered with Walmart delivery! The front desk was kind enough to hold them for us for a few minutes, too. Overall, the place is great, but there's a few things that could be better."

"A beautiful resort. Loved that the pools are heated even in the snow. Beautiful rooms and the staff was so nice. Our family of 10 had an amazing time here Thanksgiving week. Only bummer was the coffee station in the foyer worked for 2 days but was broke the rest of our trip. Loved the Lattes! There wasn't enough snow for the Gondola to be running so didnt get to use it but amazing that it picks you up right at the front door lobby. Next time we will come a little later when there's more snow. A gorgeous resort!"

"This place is magical, I couldn’t use another word than that. The accommodations as flawless, the environment is refreshing and the view is stupendous. The club Wyndham has more than two hot tubs, that really accommodates you and is private too. They have a small ski store inside with the classiest type of people that helps you to have the best experience and the lift right outside it makes this place number one place to go if you want accommodation, view, relaxation and a magical moment in a mountain’s snow."
