"We made a relatively last minute decision to do our first-ever trip to Costa Rica and knew we needed help planning since we really wanted to cram as much as possible into our 8 days there. We filled out the online form and heard from Nicola within a day. She remained our sole point of contact through the planning process and during our trip. She was friendly, knowledgable, flexible, and genuinely determined to ensure that we had an amazing trip. We gave her our price range, our hopes and expectations about accommodations and activities and such, and Nicola worked within those parameters to plan a trip that gave us the most bang for our buck. One week out, we got our final itinerary (as promised) and I am here to tell you that every aspect of the trip went *exactly* as that document said it would. We didn't spend a moment worrying about transportation to or from any location or activity. Private transportation was there to pick us up on-time for every single transfer—and I'm talking about pick-ups in remote locations to get us to other remote locations, an in-country plane ride, a boat shuttle from Drake Bay to Sierpe, etc. We were given incredibly helpful and detailed instructions about what we'd need for each and every activity in terms of gear, clothing, footwear, and mental preparation for circumstances we might not be accustomed to. Everything was flawless...we just packed, got on the plane, and went and had an incredible trip! Many meals were included, our guides were all first-rate, the hotel selections were perfect. And honestly, I don't see how we could've saved any money trying to put it together ourselves. So thanks Costa Rica Escapes and especially Nicola for a wonderful adventure in a beautiful place!"
