The Pioneer Craft House organization has been providing community classes on the campus since 1947, adding to the vibrant and diverse offerings available to the public.
In 2009, the city of South Salt Lake acquired the property from the Granite School District with the support of Salt Lake County ZAP funds. Since then, the institution has expanded its community education and services, becoming a valuable resource for residents of all ages.
