"I have studied mandolin and guitar with Susie for 3 years, and I have been trained into a solid bluegrass performer. I am a professional violinist, and always wanted to play mandolin. Susie has amazing expertise, a relaxed yet demanding teaching style, and she really knows her stuff. She has performed on the biggest stages in the world, with the finest country artists, and she knows how to compose, perform, and make great arrangements. With her help, I started writing my own songs, and now have a full set of my own compositions to perform. I can read chord charts, do improv, and have a lot more confidence performing onstage.
