"The quality of the food has gone down and the prices have gone up. The sesame chicken was dry, hard and inedible. The broccoli beef should have just been called broccoli with beef flavor because there was no beef in it. My family will no longer be eating here."

"This place is a once or twice a week spot. The staff is amazingly friendly especially if you speak Spanish. The food is top notch. Much fresher and well seasoned compared to a Panda Express. If they don’t have the selection you want just ask for it anyway and when the fresh batch comes out they will bring your food to your table. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Now that is service! I get the 2 entree meal which includes a side of rice, noodles, or both if you’re feeling conflicted and your choice of egg roll or wonton. Priced at $8.49 plus add on a $2 soda and you have one of the best priced and filling meals out there. Do not miss out on this place!"

"I don’t know why this has 5 stars. I was excited to get Chinese. I went in and all their food had been sitting for awhile and had been congealed together. They made some of it fresh by stirring it, others they replaced after I ordered mine. The atmosphere had a cool model train on the top…but everything looked old. It kind of looked like it was bought out and then didn’t maintain the original idea. (Ice cream was non-existent anymore). Food was gross though. I spent a lot of money ($15+ for lunch and a drink) and I threw 2/3 of it away."

"The food is decent, not like amazing, but not bad either. The atmosphere inside is a little tired, but clean. Unfortunately they do not have a good vegetarian selection."

"My family and I went to Whistle Wok on a Saturday evening during early dinner service, these are a few thoughts on the visit. General - Unless your a local, its easy to look over or pass by this restaurant - Served Coke products, had other options except for Pepsi - Great for couples, families, and small groups - In the hour we were there, there was a constant flow of customers mostly picking up or taking out, shows there's good community support and that they're doing something right to fend off the big-box competitors Pros - There was a good selection of familiar Chinese entrees to choose from - It was easy to order and build the plate how you wanted - The flavors and quality of the food were surprisingly good for the price - The food was fresh, well cooked, and being consistently restocked - Tables, chairs, and floors were clean and clear of clutter, attentive staff - Bathroom was clean, you could tell there was an effort to remove graffiti - The general ambiance was welcoming and safe to stay and eat Cons - The interior was dated, paint and pictures need a good update - If you weren't paying a attention, the train decor might throw you off - Minimal staff-to-customer interaction, some people like that - Parking lot is tight and needs repair, however there's always a spot - It was unfortunate to see a large model train track that did not have a working set of trains running on it, it would have definitely added to the aesthetic and been a cool conversation starter Overall I will be returning in the future and definitely would suggest this location for those looking for a restaurant that is welcoming and serving Chinese food that is familiar, flavorful, and well made."
