Dave's Hot Chicken

"I want the time back for all those months when I didn’t walk myself right through the doors of Dave’s Hot Chicken. This hit on so many levels. I had a smaller appetite so we shared the #2 which had 2 “sliders” fries and a drink. I would argue that the slider was really more the size of a chicken sandwich at any other fast-casual chicken place. I ordered mild spice and it was perfect. Nothing that left my lips burning. Excellent fries, the pickles and the slaw that comes on the sandwich were excellent. I can’t wait to go back and try the other menu items that everyone talks about."

"I don't usually give five stars unless things are exceptional, but the balance of food quality, portion size, and good service makes this a place I'll definitely be revisiting. I had a slider and tender, which was enough to keep me full. It's a good amount of food for $12 or so, and you can get away with a meal for $10 if you get a single tender meal instead of a 2-piece combo. Good stuff!"

"First time here, and I thought I would give it a try. The atmosphere suits this place and dont expect a drive thru. Very clean dining from walking in. Our order taker, Diana, was super friendly with a smile and great customer service. I ordered Dave's #1 MILD and Dave's #3 HOT. They have a simple menu and select your own spice level. After trying out the mild version, it's a perfect balance where your lips don't burn and just enough kick. Try the hot version, oh boi, was I in for a treat?! It literally got my lips burning from what I wasn't prepared for. Be warn for what you want your spice level to be. I would observe our order taker Diana keeping busy doing her task to keep the dining area clean... WAY TO GO Diana! Definitely you deserve recognition in my review. It would be great if they offered an alternative choices beside the frying chicken like "grill chicken" in the near future add-on to the menu. There was one slight issue I did have: their dining music was a bit too loud, and if they could tone it down just wee bit, I could enjoy my dining experience a bit I can have my conversation with."

"I got 3 strips. Hot, which was actually fairly warm. It’s a decent version of Nashville Hot Chicken. Mine wasn’t doused with the typical shot of cooking oil. Definitely missed that. The chicken was hot and juicy, and the service was friendly."

"When I walked in, I was concerned because all I smelled was frying oil, but the food ended up being really good. Solid chicken choice. Add honey (it's real! not high fructose corn syrup). Fries were cooked and crunchy. Our party enjoyed it. Party of 8, we were able to out tables together and enjoy a late lunch."
