"We went for an early dinner at 5:30 They were featuring a Southwest Avocado protein bowl my husband ordered. My sister and I ordered California Cobb (with avocado featured) All three dishes were put on the counter before we realized they didn't have avocado - the girl looked down and said Oh, we are out. Well, maybe since you KNEW that before you made our orders, that would have been good to share. No additional ingredients were offered as a substitute. Then we were given our rolls and when we took them out of the sleeve we all realized they were cold outside and frozen on the inside. The manager was unable to seem to care, and it was very cold in the dining area!"

"How many times are you going to raise the prices while lowering the quality and quantity of the food? Expanded growth and more stores isnt worth ruining your brand and food you greedy corporate overlords. I used to work here in 2018 and it was so good. Really embarrassing how its fallen. Dont bother eating here. Its not good. Watered down soup, half empty sandwiches that are already too small. They replaced all of their bowls so they could fit less in them without people noticing that the sizes are smaller. You will leave hungry. And the ingredients which were once high quality are no longer. Really sad."

"At my company, one of the usual caterer is Cafe Zupas. Like most chain stores where the food is cliche, I never went out my way to go try them; besides, it free at work. Until today, when I noticed one newly opened in the strip plaza, where I usually stop for lunch (love the variety). This was the last store in the plaza exiting onto 600 East. Outside has a seating area, with tables and chairs for outdoor eating. The interior looks very modern, and clean. I was greeted when entered (they wasn't busy), and immediately assisted with my order. I asked them for specials, and they recommended the combo (sandwich or salad, with soup). I ordered the "Vegetarian With Pesto Spread" on whole wheat bread sandwich, with the roasted red pepper and lobster soup. The team member recommended Croutons with my soup, which I added as a soup essential. It's a standard free add on in many places, but they charged me as "soup mix-in". The soup was very rich and savory, with vegetable and lobster pieces in creamy sweet red pepper base. I added the croutons and scooped it up with the bread roll that came with it-it was delicious. The sandwich was a bit cold (why are vegetarian sandwiches usually cold!) for my liking, the tofu and other veggies didn't mix and stay in the sandwich; there was no emulsifier to hold the content in place, so it just fell apart. It wasn't bad, but I think it would taste better if at least the bread was toasted or warm (next time). The end of the meal was perfect, with the chocolate dipped strawberry that came with the combo. I will return to try their other items, stay tuned till next time!"
