"3 stars because the dumpling soup & fried rice were the best I had there. But we’ve never really been a fan of Chinese food my husband specially but we decided to give it a try. The flavors were good but the anise in the lamb pot threw us off because we associate anise with sweet things but the lamb pot was savory so the two flavors combined was not it. We ordered the pork wonton and it was very oily but we were expecting the sauce to be made of chilis but it was actually oil from the numbing nut that came with the dish. We were very open to try it out but if & when we come back we’ll have to try something else to redeem it from the last time. Server was very nice & plenty parking!!"

"The Mongolian Chicken was very good with the exception of the sea of onions. The fried rice couldn’t be more bland, it had nothing in it except for some color.,"

"Overall Rating: 4/5 Food: 3.5/5 Initially, this would have been a 5/5. The flavors were great, with authentic Stir-Fried Pork Intestines and tasty Twice-Cooked Pork. The Boiled Beef in Hot Sauce was tender and smooth. However, there were some issues leading to deductions: Minus 1 point: A steel wool fragment was found in the Twice-Cooked Pork. However, the staff acknowledged the error with a good attitude and offered a 10% discount on the meal, hence only a one-point deduction. Minus 0.5 points: The Boiled Beef in Hot Sauce was served over a bed of cabbage, and there was an additional charge for rice. Service: 4.5/5 The staff were friendly and attentive, surpassing the service at the neighboring Lanzhou Noodle restaurant. However, there was a lapse in quality control of the dishes. Shouldn't a new dish have been prepared in light of the issue? Environment: 5/5 The restaurant's decor was comfortable, featuring Chinese-style paper umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. The dining environment was clean and hygienic, with well-maintained tables."
