"I read a few reviews that said this place had the best brisket, mac & hush puppies. I wasn't impressed by any of it. The Google description of this place is misleading. "BBQ meats take center stage at this funky counter-serve, which also makes burgers, sides & beers." First of all, they don't serve you at the counter, or slice the meat fresh right in front of you. They take your order at the counter and serve you a number, then deliver your food to the table. Red flag number one. They don't actually serve beer here like the description says. Google Maps won't let me suggest an edit for that section. I ordered a two meat plate, and they up-charge $2.50 for each brisket. No big deal, I requested moist brisket since it was a premium. They only serve their moist brisket chopped. This is a major disappointment and red flag number two. If I wanted chopped beef, I wouldn't pay a premium for it. I also ordered ribs. They were dry on the cut ends, which indicates they had been cut and sitting for a while, not cut fresh off the rack. This is cafeteria style BBQ, in my opinion. The cashier was impatient with me taking my time looking at the menu. They looked for the tip on the receipt as soon as it printed before asking if I wanted a copy. I liked the dining room, and the bathrooms were clean."

"Always delicious BBQ in multiple ways... burgers, sandwiches, salads and even nachos! Yummy sides like coleslaw, sweet potato fries, creamed corn, cheesy mac n'cheese and more! Our picky eaters are always happy with the choices!"

"R&R has some delicious sides and the flavoring of the meat is well done. The problem is the execution, the meat we had was very tough to eat. Our sides we got were sadly very burnt or underseasoned . More than half our fries were burnt like completely black. I only took out a few before I stopped because I didn’t want to picking at it for 10 min. How those got past quality control, I’ll never know. It makes you question the quality control of their other items if something as simple as fries like this got past them."

"Ordered 2 loaded baked potatoes with brisket. Brisket was extremely fatty for our taste. Beyond that, a MOD table touched and we expressed our concern and he brought us a new protein and the chicken is far better tasting and leaner. He was very courteous and listened to our concerns."
