Mimi's Cafe

"The two stars is only because the waitress, Felicity, was fantastic. The manager (female) and the host (young guy) on the other hand. Awful. 1) I can hear the manager giving a lot of attitude to the cooks right now. 2) the host looked at me 4 times and didn't seat me. When the waitress saw me, she told her manager who sat me. It took 14 minutes from when the host first saw me. (Yeah, I started counting) 3) blue cheese crumble on steak is usually put on the steak and put under a salamander or toasted in some way, not put into a small cup cold 4) Pretty positive the potatoes au gratin was not made today. Maybe yesterday at the earliest. 5) the steak lost all of its flavor because it was sitting in the oil from the potatoes. Not good 6) The host sat an older couple in a booth after they asked for a different spot. There were a ton of spots in the same section they would have liked more, but he still said no. 7) I ordered a mimosa (Mimis is known for mimosas). Sadly the waitress was too young to get it so she asked her manager to make it, 4 times. Each time the manager said she would and she didn't. The waitress apologized to me and took it off the bill. I never got my drink. 8) just heard there is only one cook. Which makes sense with how the manager spoke to him. I wouldn't want to work for her either. I was excited to see a mimis here and drove down from Ogden. Never again"

"I think they're just backed up because it's Sunday. But, ultimately worth the wait. Food is beautiful and our tummies are happy."

"So I just want to start off by saying the prices are not justified. I got a turkey trio sandwich and when I tell you the turkey looked like it was from a can it was grisly and almost translucent, I cannot tell you how gross it was. The chicken tenders looked great but they were so tough and bland. The corn chowder was like cream corn in a cup. The only good thing we got there was the ranch. I don't give a lot of 1 stars but I would give it zero stars if I could. I have never been there in my life and I will never go back. Don't waste your time or money thinking you're gonna have a better experience, this place cuts corners and they were out of most of the meats which is so strange. Literally making you choose the gross meat they had left."

"Went later in the day and got breakfast, the food was really good, we ordered an omelet and salmon. Our server was also extremely friendly. Very happy this place"

"Mimi’s Cafe is a decent place for a meal that’s convenient off of I-15 and 5300 South. It’s been in this location for a whole lot of years. Many of these restaurants have closed all over the nation. Their hollandaise sauce is pretty darn delightful. If you go, get something with that on top or on the side. Baked goods are delicious as well. All of the menu is available at anytime the place is open."
