Our journey began as a simple hobby, with our founders impressing friends and family with their barbeque skills before venturing into competitions. With each win, our reputation grew, leading us to compete in national contests and eventually opening our first storefront in Salt Lake City in 2013. Our menu features our award-winning recipes, spice rubs, BBQ sauces, and smoking techniques that have remained unchanged since our early days of competition. With 12 locations across two states and plans for further expansion, our goal remains the same - to win over our guests with delicious, authentic BBQ every single day. "When this R&R location is good, it is so good but it is more consistently NOT good. One of my favorite things has been the brisket baked potato. However, sometimes it's overcooked and dried out and then it's not worth it. When it's cooked perfectly, usually closer to the start of lunch time, it is phenomenal! The last thing I ordered was a plate and I added a rib (which I never actually received). The brisket was good. The hushpuppies were mediocre. I've gotten the sweet potato fries many times and they are usually good but I don't know what was going on this time. They were covered in really grainy salt and they were a weird shape. They were too salty to eat. It was just disappointing overall. There is not enough consistency here to get food here regularly anymore."
"R&R doesn't stand for Railroad it stands Really Random. They need to step up the food fresh, food taste, and not skimp on the meats. You've got kids in there that have no idea about what's good. No offence lads. Up the wages for good people! The Loaded Potato wasn't loaded, it just wasn't. When I think loaded, that means good fresh meat, baked beans, cheese, sour cream that some lucky duck would say "Holy Cow! I just hit the mother load or loaded...potato.""
"We absolutely loved our experience at Riverton R&R! The staff were very accommodating, the establishment clean and nicely decorated, and the food was AMAZING! From the sides to the meats and sauces we were so full and satisfied! The ribs were a family favorite! Don’t skip out on dessert the peach cobbler and banana pudding were delicious! We will definitely be back again soon!"
"Quick service Staff was friendly and helpful When we went to sit ourselves outside it was wet and the sauces and paper towels were wet. The Nachos were alright. It wasn't favorable. Kinda bland. Some of the chips were really stale. The pineapple pulled pork sandwich was delicious. Wish the sweet potato fries were more cooked. The other pork sandwich was great! Picking your own sauce was a plus."
"Fries are good when hot. The pulled pork sandwich is good, and sauces are good. Coleslaw is good. Blue cheese burger really lacks some greens. I've had better hushpuppies as these are dry and need more flavor, but this could be a one-off. Had brisket late at night, and it was dry, but during the day, it was much better. Overall the place is pretty clean, and the staff try to accommodate. Some roo. For improvements. If I could I'd give them a 3.9 star."
