Nacho Daddy - Salt Lake City

"This place is awesome! Clean, great atmosphere and great food. I had a Cadillac Margarita and he had nice cold beer. I'm docking them 1 star because it was toooo cold inside. So once we finished up we left and didn't order more drinks. We will be back!"

"We picked this place randomly after reading bad reviews about the previous place we were going to attend. It has a great atmosphere and vibe overall. We were seated on a Saturday night after a 5 minute wait, and our server got menus and drinks for 2 parties, who were sat after we were, before attending to us. We ordered a chicken quesadilla and their classic nacho, food came pretty quickly and we were so excited at the presentation of our entrees. That was followed by 30 minutes of quiet complaints to ourselves concerning the lack of flavor and taste to our meal. We would both give it another try, but were very disappointed in both plates after reading such great reviews about this place. Everyone is allowed to have off days, which is why we would consider eating here again."

"As a nacho aficionado, I was extremely excited to find a restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City that was all about the nacho! There were multiple families and groups here with expansive seating, including small tables for couples. Their kid quesadillas were nicely grilled, cheesey and delicious and there was an option to add chicken for an extra $3 which we did. We also ordered a side of black beans and chicken to accompany the kids nachos as they were simply melted cheese over tortilla chips. Of course I ordered chicken nachos and as you can see from the picture they were massive! My dining companion ordered the serveche which came with a nice basket of homemade tortilla chips. However, the portion was quite small compared to the price and it tasted ok, but was not well seasoned. The nachos on the other hand were completely amazing! Piping hot, well seasoned, and a very generous portion of chicken amongst all the vegetables, beans, and cheese. The service was very slow, I had to ask for a menu, and once we got our food we were completely neglected. We did not get water refills or asked if we wanted anything else or offered dessert. A different person brought us extra ranch when we requested it. Our server was very nice, when he was around. I noticed him behind the bar a few times and wondered if he was pulling double duty as a waiter and bartender? At one point we asked the chef, who was going around from table to table to see how the patrons liked his food, to get us to-go boxes and he complied. I believe that this restaurant is suffering from the same dilemma as the rest of the country, nobody wants to work and so there were not enough staff to take care of their customers. The restrooms were very clean and located in the building next door. The big windows looking out onto the street, and the eclectic decor made for a relaxing, fun place to eat. The grandkids enjoyed the continuously running music videos playing on the multiple, big screens. The next time we are in Salt Lake City, we will most likely eat here again because the nachos were fabulous!"

"Amazing food and large portions. Great drink menu and highly recommend the white peach margarita. As a man I can say I have never loved a fruity drink more and proud to have ordered three. Seated quick and the food was quality hot and quick to the table. Nothing more you could ask for. Cool environment with great music."

"The food was AMAZING. Got the triple dip appetizer and it was really good. Also ordered the surf n turf nachos and they left me speechless! The shrimp was seasoned perfectly. Our server, Angel was very nice and he checked on us frequently. Talked to other staff members as well and they were all friendly and kind! Love the atmosphere. I will be back!"
