"Waited for over an hour for our food to come, when it did come half the orders were not completed and cold, the place was a total mess, prior to us being seated from the waiting area we had noticed many tables were never cleared, and these tables sat messy with dishes for the time we were there which was over 2 hours from the time we entered the restaurant until we left the restaurant. The staff was rude and very unprofessional, management had no clue of what that position entails of. More than several times the waitresses would gather behind the counter in front of the kitchen window and just stand there for long periods of time. We complained about the food that we ordered and got a small deduction not near enough, should've been free for the how bad the food tasted. My wife had walked around and took this photos to show just how messy the establishment was. There is one photo of us and family seated in the corner at a table and we did request a booth."

"Okay Bear with me. Black bear Diner Ogden is the secret Salmon stream of Ogden. The food was great for the price (around $10-14) for everything. The service was immaculate. Everyone was super nice and quick. Got sat down and ordered in less then 5 minutes of entering the building. The theme of the Black Bear Diner Ogden is the pest part! From the outside you can feel the warm, cozy feeling of love you will feel. The inside reminds you of a log cabin with bear pictures that will spook you! This is a 4.8/5 star reasteraunt. "I was so excited to Google and find that there was a Black Bear Diner in Ogden, UT on a recent trip! It was so GOOD that we had breakfast 4 mornings of our 5 day stay. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs and the food was DELICIOUS! My favorite was the chicken fried steak and eggs. The grits are pretty dog on good too, and this is from the taste buds of a Southerner! I must mention the pancakes and french toast are very good also. Definitely order a fresh glass of freshly squeezed orange juice….it’s SO SO GOOD! I will definitely go to Black Bear Diner for more GREAT FOOD & SERVICE!!!"
