Discovery Kids Preschool, located at 5462 West Daybreak Parkway in South Jordan, Utah, offers a unique and engaging learning experience for preschool-age children. Our primary school focuses on teaching shapes, numbers, letters, sight words, and beginning reading skills in a fun and interactive way.
We prioritize the health and safety of our students by implementing strict cleaning and sanitization procedures. All preschoolers have their hands sanitized upon arrival and at every class rotation, toys are cleaned twice a day with an electrostatic sprayer, and tables are cleaned at each class rotation. We also enforce a policy of not allowing sick children to stay at school to prevent the spread of illness.
Registration for our preschool can be done on our website, and we welcome families to come in for a tour of our facilities without an appointment. Our tuition payment system is convenient and easy to use, with options for autopay to ensure timely payment.
We encourage a multi-sensory approach to learning, where children can actively engage their senses in the learning process. This method has been proven to enhance learning outcomes and retention. Our curriculum is designed to incorporate music and movement to help children identify and learn important concepts.
If you decide to withdraw your child from our preschool, we ask for one month's notice or payment of one month's tuition to allow for proper planning and notification of other interested families. We feel that curriculum is well structured and at an appropriate pace to help get the kiddos ready for Kindergarten. "We love this preschool! I’ve had two kids go here and I can see how much they are learning. My 4 year old is already learning to read! They make it really fun for the kids too and the teachers are great! My son loves the different rooms that they rotate through during the day. They also do fun field trips which is a great opportunity to meet other moms and set up play dates. My older son that went there 3 years ago is still friends with kids from his preschool class. Another thing I love about discovery kids is the programs they do for parents. I loved going at Christmas and Halloween to see my child sing songs and perform with his class. I would definitely recommend this preschool to anyone!"
