"Smart start learning center is hands down the BEST daycare. When we first stumbled into this daycare i had been searching for a while. We had previously been at a daycare for three days when my then 3 year old told me a teacher hit him. I went into smart start and met Shandi and Chuck, immediately i felt comfortable and like they had been my friends for a long time. Fast forward to now my oldest struggles with mental health and my 4 year old has seizures, and not one time have i ever been worried or stressed to leave my children with them. They inform me of everything, and help my 11 year old so much with self image. My 4 year old loves going to school and has so many stories to tell me. Recently i changed my oldest schools and i had to work on his first day, Chuck going on vacation the same day as his first day at the new school, drove his personal vehicle to meet my son at school, and just be that support system he needed. All the staff are super friendly and my kids love all of them. So much so that when i pick my kids up Shandi will always tell them I love you so much see you tomrrow!!! I could seriously go on and on about stores and how great they are! This daycare has become family and im so beyond greatful for all of them!!! I highly recommend!!!!!"

"My little one has been going here since the summer. I highly recommend taking your child here. My child had food allergies and they made accommodations for him. There hasn't been any issues so far and they do very well at keeping you notified- when you pick them up. I appreciate the reports and how informal they are. The staff are funny, open minded, and nice people. I like how they are a great team and get your insight on your child and their behaviors. I appreciate this daycare and am glad my son hasn't regressed in his knowledge. He has fun everyday and loves his teachers-he has cried because he doesn't want to leave when his favorite one is there. There hasn't been any major accidents, concerns, unexplainable injuries, nor billing issues. The caregivers never have their phones out and are always willing to help and answer questions. I feel completely confident and comfortable leaving him here while we work. Thank you for such a phenomenal job! If you're considering this place, go take a tour! You won't regret it. If your child has never been in daycare before this place is a GEM! I see familiar faces since we've been there so they must be doing something right for the employees/caregivers as well. I waited to write this review as I wanted to provide a detailed honest review. I wouldn't recommend any other daycares in the area."

"My 5 yr old and 3 yr old have been coming here for over a year now and they are doing so well! My 5 yr old is so ready for kindergarten. They have the coolest class pets and art projects and they did the cutest birthday celebration for her last week. My 3 year old is a tough one. He's got big feelings and has been struggling with potty training and they have continued to stay patient and consistent with him. He is not an easy child but he still makes progress here at this daycare. It's slow, so slow it doesn't seem like progress, but I've noticed, and I'm so lucky to have them. I live in West Haven and work in Ogden but the extra driving is worth it. Wouldn't take them anywhere else."

"Really excellent daycare. Close in proximity where i work, but I do recommend making right only turns during rush hour. They are very patient and gracious with my 1 year old, who needed a few weeks of adjusting after experience her first big move into a new state. She’s used to getting all snuggles when she’s overwhelmed and sad and the infant teachers were always soothing her while still caring for the other infants. And now my daughter is thriving and having fun because of the structure they offered. I even see a difference at home with her development and confidence in verbal skills. The staff are kind and close knit and attentive to all the kids under their care, even remembering the parents’ faces as we walk through the door. I feel assured my child is safe and happy there, I highly recommend checking them out!"

"We love Smart Start!! The teachers are wonderful and great at communicating. My son loves his teachers and they love him just as much. They genuinely care about the kids there and make an effort to get to know each child’s family. They have made so many nice updates to the whole facility over the last year and are continuing to do more. It is very comforting to have a daycare I know will take care of my son and keep him safe."
