Velvet Taco 4216 U.S. 69, Durant, OK 74701

"We are huge fans of Velvet Taco and we were beyond happy when we learned that there was a location at Choctaw Casino during a visit to family in Durant. Google directions were a bit wonky getting us there but it got us close enough. When we came off the elevator, and turned to enter the casino, the restaurant was the first option of many. I noticed right away that they do not offer the full menu that the other locations offer, but they had our favorites (#3 for him and #6.5 for me). We also ordered the queso blanco and chips and piece of red velvet cake. The cashier was extremely friendly and was genuinely interested in hearing about some of the menu items offered at the other VT locations. The food was outstanding and as tasty as we expect from all VT locations. Thank you to the staff there for providing exemplary Velvet Taco service! We will most definitely be back!"

"We ate here when it first opened and loved it and wanted to eat here again so on Dec.5 we did. There were 6 employees in the kitchen area you can see hanging out and chatting, only 1 cashier who appeared new. With 3 people deep and us being the 3rd , we waited 30 minutes to place our order. I even asked if they had another cashier and was told no one was available. So 6 to make tacos yet you cannot get a order in. This was horrible service and such a shame after out first visit to have such a rotten one. Too many other choices in the casino to eat to deal with that."

"We have ate at the Velvet Taco at the Choctaw Casino 2 times in the past 2 trips to the casino and we love it. The food taste fresh it is served hot and delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Service was fast and the area to eat was very clean. We look forward to going back and have some great tacos on our next trip back there."

"For sure a must stop and eat here. Had the Nashville - hot tofu and the Hangover - pork/brisket breakfast taco with the chips and queso blanco. Top marks on presentation and flavor! If you don’t like chilli flavored queso ask to not have the “heat sauce”. It grows on you or improves as queso cools and thickens. To measure size the best way is the breakfast taco is about a 2 egg taco with about 1/8 lb of each pork and brisket. 2 tacos is between just right and a little too much. I’ll be back for sure!"
