OK Hotel

"DO NOT BOOK!! This place is disgusting and it’s non refundable!!!! It’s dirty the moment you walk in there’s what appears to be poop all over the tiles. The carpets are so stained. There’s roaches there was a little one on the wall. There was hair all over the tub. The towels are dirty. The room smelled like piss. And when I showed the front desk all the photos and told her my complaints she said she could get me a different room but all the rooms are the same and it’s not refundable!! I sure did not stay just took the loss and went else where"

"My husband and I stayed there for a few days and it was a very bad experience. There was cockroaches everywhere in the room no fridge in our room. Couldn’t sleep at all. Didn’t care to shower with all the cockroaches you see as you walk in the room. We had to get cockroach spray just to try to get rid of them. Would not recommend"

"Terrible hotel. There was a huge hole in the ceiling above bathtub, the remains of cigarettes in the sink (in a non-smoking room), the smoke detector was wrapped in a bag and was hanging from the ceiling, the door to the balcony did not close (whoever wants to come in). For three people they provided only two towels, and there were no hand towels at all. They told me to wait until the next day, when they would do laundry and give it to me. Terrible stench in the room and the entire hotel. Homeless people were just sitting with their belongings in the hallway on the steps. We had to look for another hotel."

"Hotel is in process of re-branding. The rooms have been updated with fresh paint, furnishings and include microwave, mini fridge, flat screen TV with cable. The exterior doors all lock and require key card to gain entry. Unique layout to the hotel . Staff are friendly and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable. Cheapest rates in OKC for extended stay. Req. 20 deposit single bed and 40 deposit for 2 beds. Dwn stairs rms have small patio and upstairs has balcony. Pool is permanently closed. Pet friendly."

"Let me explain that I drove in to OKC for a concert. I just needed a simple place to spend the night before driving back home. First off, the sign needs to be changed out front to name of the operation now, not what it used to be. My GPS was correct but I doubted it because it didn't say OK Hotel. And by all definitions, this is NOT what I would consider a hotel. This is a typical motel...which I don't mind staying at. The exterior of the building was shoddy and needed a lot of attention. Secondly, there were very sketchy people hanging around outside every time I went outside, during the day and at night. As a solo traveler, it didn't make me feel safe. You have to use a card to open the door to get access inside. When I got back from the concert, which was close by, that door was not locked. Anyone could open the door and be inside. Again, with sketchy characters hanging around. Thirdly, as soon as you walk inside, you're hit with the smell of cigarettes, at the very least, and it did not get better walking to my room. The hallways smelled of cigarettes, mold and god only knows what else. They, too, we're in need of attention. Next, the room was okay. A bed, TV, dresser, desk, frig, microwave, an iron and a place to hang your house clothes. No carpet, which was fine. Heat worked. The description said it had a coffee maker in the room but it didn't. I look for places that have that amenity. Pillows were not the same...one was super squishy and the other was a little more firm. Bed looked fine. I did see a bug crawl across the floor. I didn't have my glasses on so I couldn't tell you what it was and also for same reason, I couldn't kill it. Continuing on, I didn't take a shower in the morning, but knelt down to just wet my hair under the water. Before I turned the water on, I noticed hair in the tub (not mine). The towel they left for you to put on the floor to step on when you get out of the shower was filthy! Looked like someone cleaned with it then put it there. Various kinds of stains. I took it with me to show the desk when I checked out, but she didn't seem to concerned. The only staff I saw that I could at least recognize as employees, we're the 2 front desk people. I checked in Friday evening and when I got back to my "hotel" room after the show, I realized I wasn't given a password for the wifi. There was no phone in the room, so I walked around the building, outside, to get it. In hindsight, I could have just used my cell to call amd get it. Everywhere else I've ever stayed at gives you the password with your key card. When I went to the lobby to check out, there was a gentleman checking in. I wanted to tell him to run away, but I didn't. I gave her my card keys and showed her the towel and told her about the bug. Again, didn't seem too concerned. Never saw a room cleaner around, not even a cart they use. I would highly recommend a traveler to look elsewhere. This place isn't work the $50 I paid through Expedia. And this is going to go to their reviews as well. Pay a little more for somewhere else. Solo travelers definitely, especially if you are a female. I travel often and this was, by far, the worst place that I have ever stayed."
