"I wish more hotels would return to being a "hotel." While this hotel markets under the Marriott umbrella, it is NOT a chain, box, serve-yourself place. Beautiful rooms with plenty of power outlets (electric and USB), very comfortable furniture and linens, and roomy bathroom. Great decor throughout the hotel. Best of all are the people, from front desk check-in to housekeeping. And the restaurant is absolutely fantastic. Menu is not lengthy but it is broad in scope from chops to duck l'orange to shrimp and grits and one of the more extensive and well-thought out wine lists. Now a definite favorite, easily superseding any hotel in OKC."

"As someone currently staying in The Ambassador Hotel, I am very disappointed by the accommodations and services rendered thus far. We were first assured that our room would be ready at the time of our arrival(approx. noon), but when we arrived it wasn’t. Then they told us our room would be ready by 2pm, and yet again it wasn’t and we were told it should be ready around 4 or 5pm. When we were finally issued a room, it was not on the floor we had originally requested and were assured we would receive. We also were forced to accept a slightly lesser room than we booked because of this. Only to walk in said room and find it reeking of Grandma’s old perfume. All this just to find they don’t have real doors on the bathrooms, just sliding “barn doors” that really only serve one purpose that does not include privacy. Potentially beautiful hotel, designed by absolute idiots. The area is nice but so far no where near worth the price."

"Unique and distinctive decor, love this Autograph Collection hotel. The room was spacious, very clean, and the addition of a Nespresso machine and robes were very much appreciated. In my favorite list of Marriott hotels now. I had dinner upstairs at the bar and that was perfectly done as well. -Titanium member"

"Our granddaughter picked the perfect hotel for family and friends to stay. We came for her Wedding. It was a perfect location for all events. The furthest location was 10 minutes away, while the rehearsal dinner and the wedding were no more than 5 minutes away. The service from the curb to our rooms were the best we have ever had over the years of traveling. The young lady working the front desk was the sweetest but extremely professional greeting and getting all checked into their rooms. The two men, Brice and Chicago were 5 stars as well. Getting luggage from the street and up the outside stairs to the lobby and rooms were efficient and very courteous. The food and service in the cafe was outstanding. To top it all off the bar location with the view of downtown OKC was spectacular. The bar food and service were very nice. Hats off to Tommy for taking care of all my family and friends, especially following the wedding reception when we all crashed at the bar Saturday night. We will always make the OKC Ambassador Hotel our home when we come back to OKC."

"Wow.. outstanding hotel experience. The staff goes over and above, from the valet parking to the front desk (Patience at the front desk is Gold!). The room service and food will not be out done, and the O-bar on the rooftop is breathtaking. If your near OKC do yourself a favor, stay here. Thank you to the entire Ambassador Team!"
