"I'm originally from louisiana, and I gota say I was disappointed. They only had 5 daiquiri machines, of which only 4 working. They had none of the classics and so was a little bummed after driving 30 mins to get to them. They said they were out of syrups on a Friday night, no less. I guess sherman is just not poppin. They inside did not feel very friendly. Got the peach daiquiri.. to go..... will try them again in hopes of a better selection . Maybe just an off night for them."

"My husband and I tried this place tonight for date night, immediately walking in Tia greeted us, I asked her what she recommended, and she was so helpful, we ordered drinks and my husband can’t have strawberry, she told us which ones would have it, we ordered a ton of food we couldn’t eat it, we tried almost everything, and every thing was so yummy! Sydney was so friendly, she made my to go drinks, (the drinks are so good!)she was so funny and just sweet! I can not say enough good about this place! The women worked so hard and never stopped smiling! I am so glad we found this place! And can’t wait to come back the next Time we are in town!"

"We got the gator and boudan balls, red beans and rice and tried the stuffed shrimp. Gator is always a favorite so loved those. Wasn't a fan of the shrimp. Boudan balls were alright. My date had to finish those off. The rice in the red beans wasn't cooked all the way but beyond that it was good. The staff was very sweet (we'd come from another restaurant we're very hangry after that experience!) So they handled us very well, had great suggestions. Only true complaint is they need to turn the heater up. It was freezing! Will return. Hoping to try the gumbo next time!"

"I’ve visited the Dallas location but the Sherman location just has better energy. Mandy and Sydney were super! Daiquiri was well balanced. Had the fried catfish and shrimp with rice & beans. It was packed with flavor. Definitely will be back!"

"Honestly pretty good Cajun food....especially for this area. The meat pies are excellent. Catfish was surprisingly good as well. Gator balls good. Jambalaya was good too. The staff was kind and attentive. Next time I'll try the boudan. That will be the real challenge."
