"Dog friendly patio seating! We decided on Old Iron Post since our dog kid was with us. It did not disappoint all the food was good (cheeseburger, buffalo chicken wrap, fries apple cobbler). We also had a Margarita flight (Fireball, peach, baby blue and mimosa) they were all amazing. Our server Erin, was really great and very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely stop in again next time we are in Sherman."

"We’ve gone a few times for breakfast and lunch on the weekends. Great service and always hot, great food. I had the BLTAE sandwich with fries this time. Their fries are hand cut and cooked to perfection. Hamburgers are so good. Chips and queso are really good for not being a Mexican restaurant. Out place to go in Sherman on the weekends!"

"Came in for lunch during our break. It was not busy so we got service right away. Our waitress was great! Very nice and polite! That plus the drinks being cold was where the good parts ended. We started with jalapeño poppers and fried pickles. Poppers were ok but the pickles were dry as a bone and had no flavor. One plate was the cheeseburger and it had absolutely no flavor at all. One had the Texas cheesesteak and wasn’t too bad. Another had the boneless wings, and they were about as tough as jerky. One had regular wings and they were ok. All had regular fries and they were sad and soggy. Honestly don’t know how it’s highly rated, but we definitely got tricked."

"Great food and even a few options for vegans and vegetarians. They forgot a few things, the garlic fries are too moist but the sweet potato fries are legendary. Good drinks too. We loved the atmosphere and we had friendly service."

"We decided to try something different while we were downtown on business. We ordered a few items on their menu and enjoyed the environment very much. The food is basic bar food. All of the items that we ordered were heavy on chili powder and cumin to our taste. Even the pinto beans had a lot of black pepper flavor. The quesadillas were exceptional and we enjoyed those very much. There are a lot of people I'm sure that enjoy spicy and peppery foods, we just ate not one. We will definitely be back and try a few other different items. The postings on the wall in the history of this building are historic and worth reading about it."
