"One of our favorite restaurants in Sherman and Denison. Consistently delicious, and a great atmosphere. Affordable as well. I’m a vegetarian and I find plenty of tasty options here. Glad to have La Placita in our community!"

"We enjoyed the food. A little confusing when entering, who knew you order before you find a seat. Go here for the food, we really found it authentic. Presentation not so much, everything served in take-out trays. We would go there again :-)"

"Great place! I was vegetarian today as I tried the papusa. One thing is that there was hardly any of the other ingredients in it and mostly just cheese. I thought they were made to order but they’re premade. Otherwise I wouldve got it without cheese. I loved the salsa and pickled cabbage that was on the side, so good! Highly recommend everyone in the area to check them out."

"Absolutely delicious place! It stands out among all the Tex-Mex here (it's Salvadorian) as a pleasant change when you want something different. Plus theres loads of imported snacks and treats inside to buy! Be ready to fight for a seat during lunch rush!"

"We travel often from San Antonio, TX to Oklahoma and finally stumbled upon this gem on our way back home. I'm often disappointed in the experiences I have when trying other salvadorean restaurants in the Dallas area but this was not the case here. Everything was DELICIOUS and fresh! Yes, it took a little while to get our food but it was worth it. The young lady waiting the tables was very attentive despite there being a lunch crowd. The lady at the cashier was also nice and helpful. As we all know, most salvadorean places have a bad rap for providing slow service and subpar food (at least that's been my experience every single time) but I assure you this isn't the case here. The pastelitos were my favorite but everything was delicious! Highly recommend!!"
