Rising Stars Childcare

"I respect what this daycare is doing for what it is. I brought my 2 year old here for about two weeks and my 4 year old a few days a week for about an hour before they shuttled her to school. The other days I would drive her myself. At one point I noticed they were taking different personal vehicles to shuttle kids to school due to their van being broken down. One day as I was leaving, I overheard one of the caregivers say now you’ll have to sit in the front seat, mind you, all these kids were fairly young so I doubt it was a safe decision for one to be in the front. The situation was difficult, I understand, but I feel they should have communicated with parents. I’ve always been very strict about the safest car seats, rear facing as long as possible, etc so this is an issue that I find extremely important. There are some kind faces at this daycare and I’ve appreciated them tremendously as I know my 2 yr old is very attached to me and may have had a hard time throughout the day. I’m currently paying less in my current daycare situation than I was paying here and the care appears to be much better with smaller amounts of children. The sheet they would send home at this daycare would hardly have anything on it with no activities being done, like arts and crafts. At our current facility there is much more written on the paper about how and what she did all day and they always do crafts to send home. The rising stars facility is great for what it is and they do what they can to help you out with whatever your schedule is, but the care could be better for the prices they charge. I just paid today for our last week here and I have hopes that they’ll improve things, just wasn’t the right fit for us."

"I just started bringing my 3 month old baby and they are very welcoming. I was very nervous at first but after seeing how great and professional the staff was I was happy and relieved that he was in really good hands. The infant side was clean and organized and he hasn’t had not one rash since he’s been there. I would definitely recommend this great place to any working parent. They also have great hours that works excellent with my fluctuating work schedule they open late also. 10 stars if I could!! Ms. Tae is awesome just as well as the other infant teachers they have!!"

"My kids are 3 and 7, and they've been going to this daycare for almost a year now. We were new to Lawton and especially my son being his first time in a "public scenery" without me was the most terrifying for me! But he enjoyed his first day! My daughter comes homes asking when they go back, and asks if she goes to daycare after school! They learn and teach them the same as in school, my kids have developed tremendously in an amount of time! They work great with your hours and schedule, and very understandable if you're running a little late than usual getting them! Easy to talk too and not impatient on answering any and all questions. Because I use to call the first weeks checking on my kids! I HIGHLY recommend this daycare, they are very down to earth and professional at the same time(: They absolutely love their teachers and staff!!"

"My daughters are ages three and four, they been with Rising Star Childcare for a month. The staff was always friendly and attentive to my concerns. Rising Star Childcare has the most reasonable prices I’ve seen in the Lawton area considering I tried four other daycares. The name speaks for itself “Rising” Star Childcare. Mr. Michael personally helped me with retrieving lost information I needed in order to properly file my taxes, thank you. I haven’t once had a bad experience at this center. I would recommend them as a caring facility that cares and is striving to get better day by day. I hope for nothing but growth and success with this facility ."

"I showed up and I was instantly greeted by all of the staff members on the floor. The kids seemed happy and enjoyed what they were doing at the time. I had a walk through and really liked what I saw throughout the center. The owner was a easy going father figure to the center and all the kids seem to adore him which I loved, I won't lie. If I was to rate the center 1-10 I would give it a 8-10 only because they are new and there is always room for improvement in a new establishment. My kids are enrolled there and so far they love it!"
